The third character in their group, Shoko the smoking girl, she becomes the school's nurse/doctor basically. She's a healer, she was the woman who was going to autopsy Yuji when he died. She can use reverse cursed techniques on other people to heal their injuries, which is very rare and super useful. Even Gojo can't manage to do that. Reverse Cursed Techniques are very very potent, with enough skill you can regrow LIMBS even. In JJK 0, you may not have noticed, but when Geto attacks the school, he fights Maki. If you pay attention you can see Maki LOSES a whole LEG. Shoko normally would be the one to heal her, but it's implied that Yuta regrew her leg, just on the fly. Yuta's really OP.

Getou sounds too old in season 1 and the movie too. And yes, Toji sounds almost as young as Megumi... Reminds me of Chainsaw Man which also had Aki sounding like he's in his 40s. Otherwise I actually like this casting. I just don't like the liberty they took changing the dialogue in certain scenes, for no good reason whatsoever. They'll even do it when characters are talking off camera and w/o time constraints.

Just going to say switching to sub would be jarring for them especially since this would be their first sub and while there's no cure for the auditory processing disorder/issues they have there is things that can help, that usually involves activities to improve listening and concentration in other words watching subbed anime. I forced myself to watch subbed anime because I couldn't stand the dubs this was well over a decade ago, now when I watch subs I hardly even notice that I'm reading them since my brain almost instantly processes the words but I wasn't making reaction videos like they are, they can start by watching subbed anime on their own time tho. That being said I'm sure many people who watch this channel watch it because there isn't many channels that do dub reactions in general. Jjk has gotten very popular tho so hopefully the dub VAs feel more pressure to give better performances like how AOT did, Eren's dub VA sounds way better in seasons 3 and 4 than 1 and 2

When Geto tells Gojo to lose the ego, in Japanese he actually tells Gojo to change the pronouns he uses to ones that are more polite, as Gojo basically talks like a delinquent. Gojo refuses, but by the end we see that Gojo indeed changes his impolite “Ore” to a formal “Watashi” when referring to himself. I know y’all are already 11 episodes in, so Geto was Gojo’s moral compass (said by Gege himself), Geto by choosing to step out of the career of sorcery, he basically cements Gojo’s future. Gojo decides to teach because he experienced first hand the failings of jujutsu society. He does it so he can protect the youth.

a little fun fact the opening of this arc was written from gojo's perspective about geto and the ending was written from geto's perspective about gojo! The lyrics are matter of fact heartbreaking and had a youthful summer love vibe. Gojo's and Geto's relationship is such an important part of the story it's insane, Gojo will never get over his situationship LMAO😭 I enjoyed this arc sm, easily my favorite hope you guys will have fun watching it!

I'm sure you've already probably come to this conclusion, but the reason for Gojo wearing a blindfold is to kinda put a damper on his Six Eyes technique. One of the things that technique does is grant the user essentially perfect perception of their surroundings (I think there's more to it as well, folks can feel free to add on in the replies). The problem though is all that extra information is really taxing to process every second of every hour of every day, so when he was younger and weaker, he wore thick darked out glasses, then as he got stronger moved on to just blindfolding himself entirely, allowing him to rest his eyes and keep them fresh for when he actually needs their full power.

I knew I recognised Mei Mei's voice!!!!! It's Android 18 from Dragon Ball Z Abridged. She's so good in that abridged (everyone is incredible in that show to be fair xD). Damn she's had an impressive career. Apparently DBZA wasn't her first credit but it was her first non video game work showed on wikipedia. She's voiced a character in a Skyrim mod too before that, I'll download it to check it out. The "we should keep the secret because fear of curses is a vicious circle" is an interesting concept that's also gonna be touched upon in Chainsaw Man a *lot*, especially since in CSM you can't hide the existence of devils.

i dont know if people on your patreon already told you but you should definitely make sure to watch the blu ray versions for episode 16 and 17 (17 is more of the priority) because they made massive changes, episode 17 was not fully finished on release due to very poor work conditions during the production, the blu ray version is a absolute game changer for episode 17
