You could say the defining characteristic of CLL would be the "smudge cells" possibly, but other than that this video is spot on!

Andddd this is heading directly to my anki deck. Love your videos. I find them to be extremely useful for very high yield topics. Gives just the minimal amount of information necessary to get the question right, and in the end thats kinda all that matters. I think some people psych themselves out on Step questions. Most of the questions are really very simple if you know little tips and stuff like this. You don't have to know every detail about everything. Just recognize patterns and key findings and you'll get a lot of questions right.

Thank you so much! I kept rereading my nursing textbook on this subject, but it didn't click until you super simplified the name for each and put them on a little spectrum! Acute is immature, Chronic is mature, and Myeloid means neutrophils. The medial and lateral letter association worked great! Thank you :)

for some reason in beckers they teach that ALL has philichromosome, and CML has nothing to do with it. Are they just wrong or is there something weird about it. cause ive been taught that it's CML from the beginning
@ezikeadaobi5 жыл бұрын
Both ALL & CML are associated with Philadelphia chromosome. Although, when ALL associated with Philadelphia chromosome occurs, it's usually seen in Adults and has a bad prognosis(unlike the normal ALL seen at ~10yr with good prognosis).
