Holy crap.. this is epic bass... Mark King is King of Bass. I've bought two basses lately, rekindling my teen years, one is fretless, and I owe that to listening to Mark

OMG is it ever! I spend most of it with my mouth agape. Like nothing I've heard since Steely Dan in terms of musicianship, and up there with current-day Dirty Loops!

I can tell Nathan was a fan of Boon's solo from the "A Physicsal Presence" version.

I honestly & optimistically thought & hoped that If we took the proper precautionary measures Level 42's 40th Anniversay Tour " From Eternity To Here " would go ahead in October 2020! In my honest & respectful opinion I think that a lot of the information thats been given out to us about coronavirus either doesn't make sense or contradicts itself, but yes it's the right & the safest decision that the Tour should be cancelled until next year... I was so looking forward to seeing them Live this October as the last time I went to see them Live was back in 2016 & my overall health & age isn't getting any better or younger but as always it was worth it, as they as per usual put on an amazing show with a set of songs played to the highest musicianship... I hope you get to see them next year as part of their (what was going to be) 40th Anniversay Tour as they are still one of the best Live bands still playing from the glory days of when the Music Industry was still huge, but alas it's a sad pale imitation of itself now... I can only think of one other band that is still recording & touring new material from back in late 70s through the 80s & that's Duran Duran & whether you like them or not they've proved their critics wrong & have continued to work on their overall sound & they have stayed fresh by doing this & working with many various producers... I wish Level 42 would record some new material also as various solo acts & bands have proved there are still fans out there that will buy their albums & with modern technology making it easier & cheaper to record a single or an album to the point it can be done at your home just makes me wonder why Level 42 haven't released a new studio album since their 2006 studo album " Retroglide " Boon & Phil along with all the original members was the best formation as far as I'm concerned & it's no coincidence that the studio albums dried up once Boon & Phil left the band, though they would return to write songs for other albums... When Mark/Mike/Phil & Boon wrote the songs together that's when the magic happened & let's not forget the other unofficial but still regarded as the hidden gem & original unofficial 5th member of Level 42, Producer/Keyboards/Vocalizing & collaborator on certain songs, the great Wally Badarou... Rest In Peace Alan Murphy 1953 - 1989 Rest In Peace Boon Gould 1955 - 2019 All The Best Over This Coming Weekend & Stay Safe & Healthy Wherever You Are In The World... In light of the still ongoing coronavirus stay safe and healthy wherever you are in the world... .....

He plays his bass here sometimes like a guitar and sometimes like a crazy drum. But with this nice piece comes the question why Mark didn't like help from a low-bass-player just like Stan got help from Jimmy...
