Whatever's local, and has tables. Doesn't matter that much what I'm eating, so long as I can chill with the people I played with, and it's a decent price. Quesadilla, magnum burger, chicken wings, it's all good.

About the dredge question. The draw was part of the resolution of zedru being destroied so no state based actions have been checked. An unattached aura only goes to the graveyard when state based actions are checked, so cloack wasn't in the GY for him to dredge it.

I know that because that's how it happens on Arena: until state basted actions are checked, the aura moves next to your other enchantments before going to the graveyard

9:00 Technically he could have activated the ability first as that only requires having priority (117.1b), but he also had the option of casting the spell first as they both were valid options for "Do things as soon as you can do them" since the stack was empty. It would be no different than if he had an instant and sorcery in hand in main phase 1 and chose to cast the sorcery first.

As another comment has said, at 12:53 the Ob Nixilis ability is all a singular thing before state based actions are checked so Moldervine Cloak would not have been in the graveyard as the ability resolved, meaning that there would have been no Dredge available to be chosen. Fun times, Zedruu is a bit silly in this format in a way I never realized

the draw from the Ob Nixilis ability happens before state-based actions occure, like an aura going to the graveyard because the creature it enchanted left the board.

Also, when the aura does go to the graveyard it should be on top of the creature (because it goes on the graveyard after the draw)

0) Ob-Nixilis's controller puts its minus on the stack, targeting Zedruu. There are no responses. 1) Ob-Nixilis's loyalty ability begins to resolve. 2) Zedruu asplode. Moldervine Cloak is still on the battlefield, and will stay that way until state-based actions are next checked. 3) Zedruu's controller draws two cards. The loyalty ability is now finished resolving. 4) Ob-Nixilis's passive notices that an opponent drew a card and procs, putting an effect onto the stack to deal (the late) Zedruu's controller 2 damage. 5) Because this is the first point after Moldervine Cloak stopped being attached to a creature when any player got priority, *NOW* state-based actions are checked. Moldervine Cloak has fallen off and goes to the graveyard, and the next player to draw a card will have to dredge it.

I looked up every KZbin video that played judges tower, copied their lists into one big one then removed all the expensive and easy cards

*PLEASE* implement a once per turn cycle ability activation clause. Having to deal with everyone activating abilities on every upkeep just leads to too many random non-interesting losses.

zedruu could have been activated before casting the aura but since the timing was correct this order is also fine as well, also when zedruu was first passed around the table the aura should not have been passed with it as all players could activate zedruu before the aura resolves

About to chime in with this too. The zedruu passing around the table should have happened with the Moldervine Cloak still on the stack.

There is no rule for the order of timesifter, since it's not a draw effect, meaning they can do it in whatever order they want.

5 Guys is better than it used to be…I admit that they are way too expensive but you get two patties and a boatload of fries with a massive selection of toppings. Cajun fries highly recommended

When we played games late into the night here in the jungle of Maui, Hawaii our friend Kev would routinely make an incredible pressure cooker meal for us of short ribs, veggies, great seasoning. Real home cooking. He's a great chef and because we don't live near town can't just go get our drive through goodies. But if we do MTG through town we definitely stop at local Asian spots for plate lunch or go hit our favorite burger spots. Ya'll are great and I am the one that wants to initiate Judges Tower in our group here soon....because I am such a rules nerd. We'll see how I do! Any starter suggestions for choosing cards? I definitely have plenty from watching this series. P.S. Your playmat is my favorite go-to

You don't have to take a game action he could have activated the ability first. Moldervine on the stack he does the activated ability of zedruu...before moldervine is finishing resolving everyone activates the zedruu ability if they were passed zedruu to them, then moldervine finishes resolving attaching to zedruu. Whoever has zedruu last keeps it til end of turn. aka everyone lost but the judge

Just thorwing an idea to randomly choose (or know in advance) card effects and have them be a permanent effect on the game before the game begins. Example being "Omen Machine" so the game is played as if Omen Machine is constantly in effect.

Five Guys is amazing when someone else is paying. When I'm dipping into my own wallet thankfully there is a local Mexican joint and a local Korean joint both with amazing meals for like $8-15 and within walking distance of the LGS. But I'm not gonna turn down free burgers.

I have to agree, also with the mayo. If the criticism is "burger is too dry" and the solution is "add mayo and other toppings" that still means the burger is too dry.

i add mayo and other toppings to burgers but never to fix it. mayo, ketchup, mustard and other sauces arent made to fix the burger but to enhance the burger. a dry or greasy burger is always gonna be dry or greasy. if ya add sauces to it your just making a mess and when you bite into a dry burger its gonna be more noticable.

Depends entirely on the burger. A rodeo burger (Double cheeseburger with breaded or battered onion rings and barbecue sauce) needs the sauce to get it's flavour, and to affect the texture of the onion rings. And to the person saying the same for mayo: A Magnum burger (battered chicken burger, cheese, topped with a hash brown. Lettuce optional.) would be Far too dry without mayo. And that's not because it's a poorly made burger, it's because it uses ingredients that are otherwise dry. The thing is, some people use sauces to compliment flavours, some use it to hide them. It's why American hotdogs are often slathered in junk, but a really good one can be served with only a little something to reduce the dryness of the bread, so you can enjoy the actual meat.

I dont get why he casted cloack before activating zedruu, sure it was a mistake, but he seamed to have some reasoning in his head.

It wasn't strictly a mistake because he could choose to do them in either order (the only difference is that cloak would have to wait for Zedruu's ability to resolve before he could cast it). In fact, he actually accidentally had a player break a rule because they should've activated Zedruu while the cloak was still on the stack (although that's also partially on him for rushing through the resolution of the enchantment).

I tried Five Guys once. Food was good, but it was incredibly overpriced, staff was terribly rude and impersonal, and all our food was just shoved in a generic paper bag with fries everywhere. It made fishing out the plainly wrapped burgers difficult without getting my hands greasy and touching fries that might be eaten by somebody else. The food was good, but everything else was terrible, leading me to never want to go back. I can get just as good food elsewhere that's less expensive and more hospitable.

"you gotta get a little mayo, you gotta get the cheese, put the fried onion on there.. slap a little bbq sauce" so you gotta make the food yourself? why not just get the grill out while youre at it XP but im from europe and havent tried 5guys so what do i know X3 i mostly eat frozen stuff or ramen. i play commander every tuesday and it goes from 6pm to LATE, so when i get home i slap the oven on at 200°C and get on my computer while it pre-heats :3 shouldnt dylan have held priority on resolution of zedruu and activated the ability since priority goes around on cast AND on resolution?? cause only after the resolution priority comes back to dylan does the game state open up to sorcery speed plays again.
