9:53 howling mine is a trigger that is separate from the main draw for turn, so assuming they drew the instant first there was an opportunity to play it before the howling mine draw resolved Edit: just noticed the sleeve colors and it was the howling mine draw so didn't mess that up. Though people drawing the two cards together rather than separate is still arguably a cheat

17:56 didn’t announce a target for Curse of Surveillance, so that was an illegally cast spell. Also at 18:45 the monarch emblem has a triggered ability, which would mean the onus of remembering the trigger is on its controller. Not entirely sure of this one, but I wouldn’t rule this as a loss for Joe.

I've always wondered if you can scry to the top. The ability reads Scry 1 (Look at the top card of your library. You may put that card on the bottom of your library.) And if you may you must, right?

The rules text for Scry is 701.18a To “scry N” means to look at the top N cards of your library, then put any number of them on the bottom of your library in any order and the rest on top of your library in any order. So that would mean if you Scry 1 you alway have to put that card on the bottom. I had to look that up myself so still nice catch.

I know Judges Tower only form this channel and saying: If you can do something you must do something. togeghter with the rules for Scry implies you have to putat least one card on the bottom. I understand that other people can interpret this differntly like you, but thats how I see it.

Hey, kinda random side note, but holy heck I'm so glad you folks are still doing your thing!! I used to watch this channel all the time back in, what, 2019 or so? i just wanna chip in with my answer to the QOTD. first i was thinking Chandra, i love spicy food and she seems like the kind of person that could make a mean stew or a chili stir fry. but i think my real answer would be Ajani, fresh boar, deer, any wild life that suits your fancy. Ajani and the pride would make the biggest and best bbq in the entire multiverse :D

Question: When Zack attacked with his ring bearer, did he draw and discard? Since we dont know what level the ring was at?

The ring only tempts you on the second creature ETB. He only got one instance of this effect and the first level is "Your Ring-bearer is legendary and can't be blocked by creatures with greater power."

He was only tempted once, so it was on the first level the whole time. That makes the ringbearer legendary and unblockable by creatures with higher power. Level 2 is the draw and discard level

Soooooo with that Flashback card that destroyed enchantments, shouldn't the next player have used it?? Not sure exactly how priority is passed but when Daxos resolves the next player gains priority and has an opportunity to flashback the spell

Priority always starts with the active player. Once the Daxos is resolved, priority resets to the active player for game actions before the other players can do anything.
