fear of commitment is the limitation in confidently embodying your positioning as a creative. we feel that when we commit to a 'who' we are limiting our potential and thus comes up a fear of making the wrong decision. There is no wrong decision. Commitment is the doorway to take the next step, and if it doesn't work according to your projections, not only do you have the valuable feed-forward to refine your practice but you also have new feed-forward on collaborating with your fears. Commitment is the doorway to deeper freedom, we just always see it like this.

As a creative, we do want to spend money to make money, or learn to make money, but the problem is that we are frugal in spending because there is not much to spend. Especially in a 3rd world country where our earnings are just enough for the daily cost of living.

Here is a little list that you can explore to increase your revenue in a developing country: - employee at local company - employee at transnational company - employee at remote international company - freelance with one client - freelance with multiple clients - freelance with experience, who has gathered up good references, gotten rid of the bad clients, and nurtured long term clients - business owner collaborating with other people to sell on a larger scale - business owner manufacturing your own product - business owner with multiple products selling to the average citizen in your country - business owner with multiple products selling to the wealthier clients in your country - and many other options that I probably missed due to my shortsightedness, living in a developing country might seem a little bit higher in difficulty, but if you look around there's very wealthy people not too far from you

The Internet connection that allows you to share your excuse with us can also be used to knock down any excuse you have to not move forward. Move forward. What do you offer your clients?
@thescribblemedia
@thescribblemedia 10 ай бұрын
@@UnderMyPalm it's not an excuse. It's the reality here. We are at the last end of the stick where we get lowballed all of the time by clients from 1st world countries. That's why they always get their labor from third world countries because labor here is really cheap.
@PrincessAndJuan
@PrincessAndJuan 10 ай бұрын
As someone born in a developing country but living in a first world country, I know what you're talking about. People here have no idea what struggles people truly face in first/second world countries. Honestly, working for an international company may be your best bet, especially if you speak English well.
@DavySTUN
@DavySTUN 10 ай бұрын
@@thescribblemediaRespectfully, I would agree with @undermypalm, and question who says these things that you unfortunately believe ? IE "last end of stick" "lowballed All the time" The Internet is the great equalizer, forget where I 1st heard it, but it's true. You mentioned wanting to learn to make money, pretty sure there is a lifetime of info available on that and for free. If you get lowballed ALL the time, try pushing back SOME of the time, what's worst they can do, say No! Try changing offer focusing on what you can make happen for them, less on how you do it, think results! Big thing I see is people not fully understanding what THEY can do or can't. Furthermore, become so good at it, that it's like walking for you, it does wonders for your confidence in deal negotiating! There's more, but I'm sure no one wants it all here, haha, but lastly, practice communication whenever possible. A business owner doesn't care what 1,2md,3rd world YOU think you are in, but if there is value received AKA results n relationships! Best wishes to any that read to here ! Haha STAY SMILIN!

Marketing = Sales + Branding Paid Lead Gen is a part of sales process. Organic Lead Gen is a part of branding process. Lead Nurturing is branding. Lead Closure is sales. This format of basic concepts of business with lots of variety of examples is incredibly valuable. Thank you Chris. However I never seem to stumble upon a video that contains a scenario I combat very often, such as this: Customer: I have a problem and need it solved. Me: I can solve your problem for $x. Customer: Wow that is a lot of money for your services. Me: If I were to solve your problem in x timeframe, how much revenue would this bring your business? Customer: 10k. Me: So would my price of 2k seem justifiable to you? Customer: I DO NOT NEED THIS SERVICE THAT BADLY. Many people in my target customer base will not pay this because my competitors rates are 20% lower; however I produce a higher quality and more convenient product for them. How do I place realistic prices on my deliverables that will entice my customers rather than push them away?

I follow really few people on youtube, I have seen a tonnage of people on youtube. Precisely, I have had to cut through the garbage on this platform multiple times, and even the most entertaining videos are garbage because in the end they leave you with less than you started. Your content is top notch, the attention your videos are getting does not reflect the magnitude of the wisdom you are gifting. I guess, like you say, the right audience is usually not the largest one.

2:30 I have a question about this. I sell books and have a fulfillment team to help me ship out the books to customers. This job needs to be done obviously but they are not directly contributing to bringing 5x in income or growth to my company. So…that would make them an expense to my company but a necessary one that I cannot reduce costs in - i.e. how much I pay them of course. So my question is, is it ok that some of my business expenses (like employing a helper or two to fulfill shipments) do not 5x my overall company’s profitability or should I be doing something with my team to make that part of my business expenses lower and more profitable?
@thefutur
@thefutur 10 ай бұрын
people in your company fit into 1 of 3 categories. sales/marketing, delivery and expense. without the delivery team, you would be selling vapor. so they are contributing. to what degree, depends on team and industry. ideally, you would reduce the cost of delivery (if possible) especially if it's unskilled labor. you can look into fulfillment companies or outsource it to 3rd party. hope that helps.

@thefutur
@thefutur 2 ай бұрын
Hey it would really depend on how much money you’re making in your business and current struggles. We usually recommend Accelerator for anyone doing under $100k, Pro-Group for $100+ plus, & business bootcamp after that. Business bootcamp is a course so if to tie good with keeping yourself accountable it’s a good option you also get 1-year of pro group included with Business bootcamp

Great video Chris! I hope at some point you do one for video production companies that work with advertising agencies and marketing executives in mid to large companies. These folks don’t want to be told how to market better they want us to execute their vision/idea; produce the video(s) they envisioned, sold their client or their higher ups requested. How do we as a company get to and deal with those folks. I think I’d be inclined to pay for your mastermind if that was something you could teach me to further my company’s success.
