Parker: says "stop the truck" in serious tone, and Elliot directly stopping. Very nice dynamic & coordination. He usually question and berates her, but with that tone, he knows what's up. Underrated scene.

Nice detail, Parker incapacitating the thug with such a simple one-handed choke. We forget that she hangs off the side of buildings by her fingers, her grip strength is scary.

@@onepieceyamato2901 I'm not the original poster, but it makes sense to me in that they're both known for playing kind of badasses/people with gray moral codes throughout their careers. They both have gravely voices, albeit slightly different in tone. And they both can sing beautifully in ways you wouldn't quite expect from men with their gruff demeanors.
@Ceares7 ай бұрын
@@candacen7779 That mix up is hilarious because we joke all the time that casting directors are trying to cast David Keith and get it mixed up, then when Keith David comes in they're like...oh, well, yeah and so Keith David gets a lot of jobs that seem like they fit David Keith, this being one of them. (ETA it started because Keith David is a lot more prolific acting wise than David Keith has been over the years but they both started off doing a decent amount of stuff). When I saw the casting for Eliot's father, we laughed about it happening again.

I have been a fan of this show since day one. I even go back and watch some of the older episodes. Seeing how Eliot and Harridosn's relationship evolved and then throw in Parker. Comedy for days. But then seeing Christian Kane be Eliot-like in The Librarians gave me my Leverage connection after the show initially ended,
@katie9918 Жыл бұрын
Nice to see Parker springing to action right after Eliot and with a chokehold too! Damn, girl! This chokes me up on two levels. Eliot making adoption not a big deal, with an interracial adoption not a big deal (which it unfortunately could have been in that time in that place) and then he opens up just that little bit to (damnit!) Hardison in space. I just want to hug him so tight all his broken pieces fit back together.
@candacen7779 Жыл бұрын
Agreed. I think a lot of people miss the part where it would have been the 1970s when Eliot got adopted. A transracial adoption to a black family in the 1970s would have had to take place under some extraordinary circumstances. There's so much more story here to tell. And I'm 100% here for it!
