Great review.. I much prefer the ruggedness of roughout cowhide to lambskin leather or suede. Lambskin jackets are so common, they are a dime a dozen as us old timers in the US would say. Plus, I much prefer the weight of cowhide or horsehide to lambskin. Levis used to make these in a roughout tan cowhide back in the 1960s and 70s quite alot. I love watching your in depth reviews when I see them pop up on the Feed. Cheers from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I agree with you. My father loves cowhide, and he says the others are not strong enough. I suppose fashion plays an important role and due to the softness and lack of break-in of the other leathers (that are expensive) and the message that is low quality helps too 👍

Was able to get this jacket here in the US for $295 plus taxes. Fits like a glove, fit is similar to the standard Levi’s trucker jacket. I am very happy with it!

That's lovely! Is it the right choice? Sure, but not for this time of year! That goes in a wardrobe and comes out in the colder weeks before Spring when there's not so many wet days.
