The Cooldrive is a brand new handmade solid state distortion pedal by Lex Bos. It's a medium gain pedal with 2 channels. Channel 1 is a low gain channel which also can be useful as a booster. Channel 2 is adds more gain to it. It's got a full warm tone and still a lot of harmonics and works really responsive with a (tube) pre-amp if you crank it up a bit. In this video, session guitarist Roy Beukers is playing a Nijssen Custom build Classic S guitar with the Buddy tube amp from Lex Bos.
