In my 50's now and have to say its still the greatest piece ever played on a sax. The amount of debates ive had with people saying Baker street. It doesnt hold a match let alone a candle to this line from Wes. Still sends shivers up my spine today, how one man doesnt play a sax but brings a crafted piece of metal to life like some wizard, and enchants it to sing beautifully, like female soprano singer. God ! If i wrote this let alone could play it i would have a statue built of myself 😁😁. Never will a sax line ever beat this

OK So many of us oldies still think its the best sax solo we have ever heard. I agree with perfection but to be honest , you can hear the emotion in every breath. Its hard to find 'Exceptional' amongst the bland these days but that performance was truly exceptional and I am glad I lived to hear it. Thanks Wesley!
