Modern Warfare Remastered was absolutely fantastic, however when supply drops got added to it the game got tainted and dropped. Deadass the loot boxes killed that game. The fact for months the only way to even get the game was spending $80 on Infinite Warfare certainly didn't help

100% i loved MWR sooo much. The maps they added and the gun skins were good, but the supply crates ruined all of it. We just came from BO3 and IW’s crates, i was so sick of crates at that point. For the few months before crates in mwr it was very refreshing. And no, it wasn’t nostalgic based because i didn’t play the og cod4 multiplayer, didn’t have the internet at home yet lol

Ghost is in a good spot, it got a bad release beinmg after the golden era of cod. AW is in a good spot it started a great generation of comp cod and just good cods in general with jetpack movement. IW is def underrated though, the average cod player just didnt want another jetpack cod after 2 years of it. especially with IW being a fantastic year for pro/comp

Ghosts multilayer was good IMO. B02,BO3, MW3,MW2, B01, ghosts and AW are the best cods, especially for multilayer. I absolutely loved AW growing up, that and BO3 were my personal favourites but it showed a higher skill gap

The fact that lex is so blindsided to Ghost's comeback is crazy, to say that anything that isn't getting talked about is immediately a bottom tier cod then to say ghosts is a COD that isn't getting talked about is WILD to me. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Some of the mechanics were a little annoying but i had fun with it. Campaign to me, yeah while pretty predictable i enjoyed it, Multiplayer was decent to me, not my favorite but fun to mess around with, and zombies was ok i guess. the first map final reich and the survival map grostenhaus was good

warzone brainwashed them into thinking it was fun. but realistically most games on that shit would time out before you could even get near the objective required for a win because the maps were massive and built for campers. the camo grinds were also made into the most tedious and boring objective to complete and sbmm made me play like im at a lan you just got home from school while playing cos lobbys are filled with nerds. but none of this applies to the youtubers as they just reverse boosted and played shoot house 24 7

I’m ashamed to admit this, but my first COD was ghosts (mainly played halo throughout my childhood) I thought it was a great game… until I went and played cods before it. Ghosts isn’t bad, but it also isn’t good either. C tier is perfect. Campaign was mediocre, multiplayer was mediocre, and extinction was mediocre (except point of contact, which was good and last map was dogshit) I recommend going back and playing the game with friends who also have it to relish in its mediocrity.

Everyone in the community says “it was bad cuz it came after good cods”….😑 no the game was just rightfully so hated cuz it was TERRIBLE, let’s not act like it’s impossible to still be good after a good game, MW2 came out after a good game, MW3 came out after a good game and was only hated cuz it was essentially MW2 it wasn’t a game quality thing like ghost, it was essentially a reskin of MW2 which is why it was hated, not cuz it was bad. Bo1 came after good cods, bo2 came after good cods and stole the show, bo3 came after good cods (not right after, but still after) it’s very possible to come out after a good cod and be at least decent….ghost was not that. Ghost felt like they didn’t care/try, the game fidelity wise looks like MW2/3 which came over half a decade before it, the maps was terrible with the only thing holding em up on their last string was the destructive map interactions and those was mid and situational the whole map wasn’t actually interactive, the ttk sucked, and ghost did nothing special, it brought nothing to the table. Other games usually contribute in some way….ghost literally did NOTHING for the game
