Very good decision. The Germans think they have cars,it's a cart but instead. And someone has to pay their over 3.0k salaries and they overpriced their trash,lying now in the cervices

I chose this over a luxury German saloon and I'm very happy. 3 years of trouble free years with an absolute great car. Its quiet, economical, sophisticated, reliable and overall underrated alternative. And I still get compliments from the random parking lot encounters, it looks very good and I'm sure it will age very well. Im very sold of the quality what Lexus makes, the steering wheel for example. Mine is still almost as it was when it was new, in Audi, it was already completely worn out with these kilometers.

I bought my 17MY IS300H at the end of September and 4000 miles in l absolutely love it ❤️ it's perfect for my 80 mile daily commute. Great review and l love your accent

I bought one in 2015 and then traded up to a GS300h. The powertrain is excellent. Yes you can hear it a bit when you clog it but it is now worse than any other vehicle, it just sounds different to a geared car. In normal use you don't hear it. I think some journos have been overly critical of new technology in the past.

I had driven several BMW and Lexus in my lifetime and both are might fine brands. The Lexus does not cost an arm and a leg to service and is generally much cheaper to purchase and comes with many standard features. I find the BMW drivetrain is better than Lexus, more stable n less twitchy over uneven road surface and if Lexus cost 20-25% less this is something I can live with

What you describe as "head turning design", I'd describe as "What did they do to the front?". The designer should have put his pen down earlier in the design cycle. It's not a car you turn back for a second look as you walk away.
