@@thehuangbros Julius is amazing RCF owner. BTW, I am going to one-up him LOL Not really! I got Dragy GPS video box and I am going to do timed acceleration runs on my RCF. Not nearly as exciting or challenging as these Nurburgring lap times, but it is going to make for some video content.

Amazing video! Keep them coming. Curious, has Julius considered upgrading his suspension to something like RR Racing Penske coil-overs? It helped me cut back on the understeer inherent in the stock suspension.

A suspension upgrade would definitely make the RCF TE a LOT faster. Coil-overs and adjustable control arms is what this car needs. I thought about the Öhlins Competition coil-overs in combination with the figs control arms. Buuuut i live in germany and it is nearly impossible to get this road legal. Only thing that is easy to get road legal would be the KW V3 but i dont think that this alone would be worth it.

Just no traffic and no passenger, it is easily a 7:45. Even a non-TE RCF like a CF/TVD RCF would be able to do 7:52 - 7:53. The inherent understeer that is built in could easily be mitigated with more front end grip with wider/more aggressive tires and more aggressive alignment dialing in some toe-out.

@@2ZZGE100 great points. Coil-overs with higher spring rates will broaden the performance envelope much further. The RCF in stock form is under-sprung.. Higher spring rates will more powerfully manage the dynamic change in weight transfer through the ebbs and flow of the track

@@racegt3394 I own an RCF and actually taken it to the track.Most of the aftermarket sptings for RCF are garbage that blow shocks and coil overs is the only way to make it dedicated track car. It is not the spring. It is under tired from factory with standard load rated tires. Those PSS tires mine came with, were cr*p with sidewall made of marshmallows for the weight. The springs are perfect for double duty. The tires need to be much more aggressive than the 92Y and 96Y. I went with much higher load rating tires and sidewalls both inner and outer are way stiffer. My ftonts are now as stiff as the OEM rears and my rears are 100Y meant for way higher loads. That reduced side to side load transfer in slaloms and rapid transitions. It made a big difference as tires also act like springs. In this video Julians"s RCF on more aggressive R compound tires was phenomenally composed compared to the M2 and that was my point originally. For what it's worth, my TVD RCF came with different rear springs than for the LSD. I believe it is to rotate rear more easily

It is. Only thing he has done is add weight to it. Not even a joke. He added the sparco seat belts, heavier tires but grippier AO52.

I mean it’s not the fastest thing out there. It’s just an honest Japanese GT car that sounds amazing, is very reliable, and can be flogged around a track all day without breaking a sweat. Just depends on what you’re looking for.

The angle of the shoulder harness is completely wrong and unsafe. Still people set it up that way. Plus the weight of those child seat anchors were never tested for an adults weight.
