Hey Ed, i have a question. im looking at pistons on Real Street. looking to do a 10:1 compression build on a ge. Real street lists pistons for sale at various cr ratios for both ge and gte, but this depends on the head gasket right?

This is a good question, sorry for responding late. gte pistons will work in your ge block. Those guys at real street will know more about this than I do. How much power are you aiming for? And please keep me posted as I maybe planning to do a full rebuild my self in the future.

@@Edward3jr 500 whp, I pulled a ge vvti block and will build that, coil on plug capable and cam and crank sensors. Can’t decide how I want to get to 500, high compression low boost for good response or low comp high boost. Another question. There is a coolant drain port on the exhaust side of the block, can I use that to supply coolant to the turbo?
