The regular RX-350 is easily the best of the bunch. Perhaps next (2) year, when RX-350 will be on the TNGL platform, it'll be a better Hybrid, but not a better car. Only flaw with this model, is that everyone wants to steal it.

One thing I don't think you mentioned is the fact it does not have a spare tire, but the are instructions on how to drive 100 miles on a flat tire, which could happen here in Nevada, as there is a lot of open spaces, like going from Reno to Las Vegas. Anywhy so fare I am getting basically I am getting 45MPG, but mostly in town. Where I live very hilly, plenty of power, and the gas tank only hold 10.8 gallons which is fine with me. I’ve had the privilege of owning a 2021 Lexus NX 300 Premium. The quality ride is great and love the handling. I bought the vehicle not for its technology, but more so for its reliability. After owning a 2016 Hyundai Sonata Sport that’s plagued with its engine issues, I decided I needed a reliable car that I can take out of town and not fear it leaving me stranded like the Sonata. I’ve read some of the comments posted on here where people speak so negatively about these automobiles, but I doubt they’ve ever owned a Lexus SUV. These vehicles are made more for consumers who appreciate reliability and not so much up to date technology. The reason I didn’t wait for the new 2022 NX is that the new model will be built in Canada and not Japan. So I’ll have to wait a few years to see how the new model holds up to the quality and reliability Lexus is known for. 🙂

@@r.m.s.605 The worst issue was the 2017 RX450h F Sport engine shaking while accelerating, I went to dealer three times to have the issue fixed, it was very frustrating experience since that dealer didn't do their job right, first time they took half a day got issue "fixed", the second day I found that still the same so I take it back to dealer again, this time they took 2 days to get it "fixed" and I have to bargain with them to get a loner car, they told me the issue was one of the injection nozzle not working right so they replaced it, this time I got the car back from them and immediately found that the problem was still there, again they took another 2 days to find out that the issue was they forgot to program the ECU or whatever after they replace the injection nozzle..., you know, it just feels like "Made in Canada" and shoddy dealership are working together in destroying the reputation of Lexus

Base model RX-350, that's gas only, is by far the best (best bang for the buck). Get it now, before electrification screws-up it up...the sum of its parts and world class assembly-line makes it punch above its weight class. 8speed with small first gear can take a twin-turbo v6 when getting the jump off the lights. Well dampen suspension makes it a tool that someone like Paul will appreciate (now that he know how to hustle a front drive biased car around the race track).

The GX is a gas guzzler that looks very dated inside and out. I also think people tend over estimate what they actually need to carry; if you consistently carry large and bulky items where extra space would make a difference, then a pick up or minivan makes way more sense. The GX certainly has its market and proclaiming “GX wins!” Will get you likes on an enthusiast channel, but I think the RX and NX makes for a better vehicle for what the vast majority buyers use their CUV for: Putter around the kids to the grocery store.

It is June 2021. This fall, the NX will be redesigned from the ground up. Less noise, more get-up-and-go. The Hybrid will be called NX 350h. I can't wait to test drive it. Said to give 37 mpg (the current model gives 31). Probably will cost over $50,000. These models feature what Lexus calls the *Enform Dynamic Navigation* system. In that system, Google maps are downloaded "dynamically" off the air so no more need for that annual trip to a Lexus dealer to get the latest maps, paying $200 every time. However, after 3 years, you'd have to pay $170 every two years to maintain a 'dynamic membership!' 😂😎😁

What if you don’t pay it? I don’t even want navigation. I just need a compass
@OnlineMD2 жыл бұрын
@@ahitchcock7056 you can get one without navigation. I was about to buy a 2022 ES 300h without navigation in January but found one with the 12 inch screen, navigation and premium Mark Levinson audio, and chose it instead.

400H FTW! Just IMO....good gas mileage for a luxury truck, and great power when you charge the battery 🔋🔋🔋 all the way up with the (B) gear ⚙️ on the shifter. Mines at 200k running strong....and I had to drive it through a flood 🌊💦🌊 4ft deep water. Bulletproof truck thru and thru. Amazing daily driver that's fun to drive with AWD for snow michigan roads. This way I get to drive my classic cars in the summer 😊😁😊

You can use voice control so you dont need to use the touch pad. The gear lever has S +/- settings for a 6 speed virtual gear box.

I had the RX leased for 3 yrs, turned it in early and bought the UX. The RX is a gas guzzler and so noisy on the road. The UX doesn’t have a good sound system and is touchy when driving so it takes some getting used to- it barely feels like a Lexus because it’s so… basic but after looking at Toyota it’s still very much luxury- I’m just spoiled. I was tempted by the new Merc 2022 C coming out- the screens are amazing but my last MERC E550 had problems always- very expensive. I chose the UX as I’m only 5’3, my wife is 5’2 & we don’t have kids yet so when we do, they’ll be in car seats forever anyways. This UX- if thinking responsibility but still the need to have a luxury vehicle is the best you’ll get. Also as someone thats 5’3 it’s quite roomy- the RX has an unnecessary amount of space that I only utilized twice in all the time I had it.

What a wonderful comedic duo. Unique in the auto space where reviews can get technical and downright boring. Loved it!

I have a 2018 Accord ICE. That gets 30/38 mpg. I don’t think what you’re quoting for hybrids is as good as you think. Granted, I’m talking about a sedan vs an suv.

Too bad 2023 switched to touchscreen. You mentioned that it was difficult to use the track pad while driving because of bumps in the road. I believe a touchscreen with an outstretched arm is much harder to use while driving.

voice commands for what you need on the screen. Show forecast. Show traffic. Directions to Commander's Palace New Orleans Louisiana. I'm cold. Changing the rear camera lines. x marks the spot for trailering, single red line or yellow ladder tied to steering angle. Front camera at low speeds.

_What about the UX, NX, RX compared to GX-460 considering you have elderly passengers 3 times a week? (Senior parents getting in and out of the vehicle) Which one would be more comfortable ,spacious, reliable with cargo space, handles pothholes, dips and road bumps, smooth ride over rough streets, and survive driving through some stagnant water during flood seasons in Texas?_

Anyone that owns a paid off Lexus is well on their way to building wealth- (P.S. I love my IS350 and would recommend anyone to get one)

I love the AWD aspects of the RX, but I'd be terrified to take it off road and bash the lower lip on the front grill. It needs a little higher approach angle. I'm sure a very low percentage of RX owners would ever leave the pavement though.
