Thanks for making this available. My daughter keeps telling me to purchase another set. However, this is the last gift from my dad 2007.

Thankfully there's only a few parts that can go bad so there's no need to replace the whole thing. The washer on the other hand is a different story

Those dual coil elements never fail. I don't even carry one for van stock. It's probably the $10 genuine LG high limit fuse.
@CarolinaCowboys Жыл бұрын
Is that an auto-resetting fuse?
@wayneloyacano249 Жыл бұрын
@@CarolinaCowboys the high limit is a one time fuse, the thermostat, also on the canister is a bi-metal and technically resets
@CarolinaCowboys Жыл бұрын
@@wayneloyacano249 ya I thought the high limit fuse was one time, so if I replaced it, it would just blow out again, I think it’s because of a temperature regulator or thermostat
@CarolinaCowboys Жыл бұрын
Also I’m pretty sure I replaced the fuse and it didn’t fix the problem
@wayneloyacano249 Жыл бұрын
@@CarolinaCowboys typically replacing both is recommended. If fuse keeps blowing it's usually related to airflow. Not just venting but also the lint filter. Those can get clogged, not long you scrape off but perminate clogging the screen. Very fine material of filter means dryer sheets and fabric softener are not recommend.

Great video, so helpful!! thank you so much for sharing.. funny thing... the screw you said was super tight was missing when i opened mine up... hmmmmm... Also i did not see where you took out the four screws in the door face. With the door open it is the two highest and 2 lowest screws to remove.. but not any of the ones attaching the door or the opposite ones for reversing the door.

Are you talking about right here? - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sGecdaJtjrJnn9ksi=VzmyNvTWgwkCAP9r&t=268 I wonder if you have a different model than mine.

@@CarolinaCowboys yes it is slightly different, maybe slightly older or newer of the same :) I ended up with 3 extra screws when it was over, but it works fine with no movement or noise so I 'm just gonns save them in the part box for the next round.. haha.. I do suggest folks take care with where the odd scres go I had 4 stubby machine screws, and and the 3 days i was waiting for the part i forgot where they belonged... ooops..

Help after removing the front panel you disconnected wires. That red and white on I just can’t get out. I try to pull in really hard. On the side and in the front. Was there a trick? I tried doing what you did 3:44 minutes in the video..
@CarolinaCowboys Жыл бұрын
Most of those wires have squeeze clips on them, sometimes you need to squeeze on the sides and sometimes on the front or the back. Check out my other dryer videos I have other angles as well.

You could also call LG and they can send a tech to your house to fix it
