Awesome video and great company to order from. I easily replaced my battery but apparently when people call me they can hear themselves talking if my phone is not on speaker(normal calls it isn't). I assume this is something I did wrong while putting it back together but wasn't sure. Any advice?

I find it unfair that companies are aloud to do this. After all we pay loads of money to buy their products, we should be able to change/repair/alter every parts we want! There should be a law banning them from making our life so hard. I just bought that phone and I love it but I miss having an SD card to extend the memory!

I am still using a 3 year old LG VM670! After a little over a year the usb charger wore out. So I bought a second double sized battery came with a back for $14 on amazon & I bought an external battery charger. I just rotate the batteries. It is not just replacing the battery but allows the phone to keep being used after the usb wears out as it will on all android phones even the S5.

The key word to explain why companies do what they do - "Obsolescence". During our grand father's era cartel shortened the life span of light bulbs from 2,500 hrs to 1,000 hrs. It became the standard life span of light bulbs. As you can imagine manufacturers raked quite a lot of money selling light bulbs with short life span. Similar to your phone. Their intention is to stop owners having the ability to fix or change anything to make your phone last more than what it was intended to by manufacturers. When a slight problem occurs you simply change your phone. Also, when a new model arrives you are encouraged to buy one. Look what Steve Jobs has done to Apple. He built churches around the world where people can follow the Apple brand and products. You see lemmings lining up to get the latest gadget from Apple. Think about this....... do they really need a new iPhone or MAC? The end of the day they want us to continue our consumer mentality 'till our death. I guess that's how they survive. So, In reality no government within our consumer driven capitalist society will ban any company applying "Obselescence" on their manufacturing.

EU laws should ban non replacable batterys. When this whole crap started they gave reasoning for quicker charging. this al was false its just to make you buy more phones as they rather have you buy a new one then a battery. This are 500+ euro device on release! the least we can expect is a easy fix of the battery is wearing down which isnt a question but a fact. There is no reason to place components over the battery other then to make it harder to replace the battery. Its perfectly powwible to make these phones with removable battery's they just dont want to as it will hurt sales. EU stop messing about with charge ports and switch your focus to making batterys replacable again so we dont have to take a massively heavy battery pack on the road with us and can carry a spare batt. instead. ! ! ! ! ! I will NEVER buy a Phone with a hard to replace battery even if it means i have to buy a dumb Phone i just dont care. ill ditch whatsapp in seconds and go back to a call only contract.
