Watched both days enjoyed the group discussion periods each time. My favorite element was the shorted finale with the ux and Sony squaring off. I don't think it is necessary to spend so much time on judging reference material. Everyone knows by now calibrating can pretty much fix blacked out room settings. Very few world wide customers watch their beloved tvs in a cave of blackness. Real world lighting conditions are far more important for judging picture impact whether it be reference impact or hightened impact preferences. great show. Thanks

When watching movies, I care most about picture quality. Sports, less so. Especially when image is so good on Sony. Other content looks more than good enough. These points combined with being able to get it in "55 (very small apartment), out-of-the-box uncalibrated image excellance, and significantly better sound makes me willing to pay the purchace price. Also, thinking it's reasonable to think software updates can improve gaming issues, as well as boost brightness to some degree. One thought regarding cost and possible price drops. Could happen exactly because Sony is not making a huge impact. Great show. Hope FOMO replaced the problematc A98K he initially received from Best Buy.

Is that accurate? Was just playing with the settings and couldn't find any info on Live Color. So I left it on off. Will try it on and see how it looks. Really wish apple made a TV and you could just turn it on and that's it. It's nice to be able to make changes, but Apples new iPad pro M4 has the best OLED screen in the world and there is no tinkering. It just looks amazing, all the time.

I don’t think it’s a correct statement to say that Dolby vision and HDR10 aren’t different when you compare the same TV model to the same TV model that when they have the same insides and processor. The most accurate comparison should be between a tv that doesn’t have Dolby vision or is not using Dolby vision vs the A95L that is using Dolby vision. The same tv against itself you can’t expect a huge difference when it’s meant to process images a certain way based upon design. Try the Dolby vision test against like the G3 in HDR10 or The S95C.

This year feels like it's not going to give it to LG in general. For me it's like this.. Best value S90C (but have to live without Dolby). Best TV is LG G3 (if you want Dolby etc) Best TV and cheaper S95C (no Dolby etc). Best general all rounder LG C3.

When making caparition between tv's and the video is not stoped at the same Time, for example 1:00:01 (Samsung) 1:00:02 (LG and Sony) it is possible that intensity of the brightness may be different. So, it is big chance to make a mistake in such caparition.

In my opinion preference depends on the content you prefer to watch. In case No1 Sport and No 2 Movies - LG G3, if No 1 is Gaming/Sports, NO2 Sports/Gaming - Samsung S95C, In case No1 iš movies - Sony A95L.

S95D and G4 won't be better, despite 10-20% brighter. Samsung still same mediocre processing and upscaling w/o Dolby vision, and G4 will still be the inferior MLA, because they can't get their hands on QD Oled. 💀 If you're waiting for Technology advancements, you'd have to wait until 2025 for possible phosphorescent blue upgrade.

Bought a 65" A80K (I realize not in the same league as these TVs, but still 2022 OLED tech vs 2012 plasma tech) to replace 2012 60" Samsung plasma and was underwhelmed. At best I was able to get the A80K to look similar to the plasma. Even 4K DV Netflix didn't look any better to my eyes. Only diff was some whites sometimes much brighter on OLED. Oh and viewing distance makes a diff so you can sit closer to the 4k TV, but I don't need or want to sit closer. Returned the A80K. Probably with bigger screens you'd notice the better quality. Pretty sure when I am forced to replace my plasma it will be a Sony or LG though as I feel Samsung quality has gone downhill over the years - maybe why they are cheaper. Just MY thoughts on MY experience.

I watch almost everything in dynamic. I watch sports and movies. I don't like dark tv's. I have always bought the top notch Samsung because of that. You guys ruined this years QN90 and made them lower their brightness. I have a very bright living room. I have 8 Samsung tv's and when one goes out, I want to be able to have the same brightness as I have in the past to chose from. I don't live in dark rooms like you guys do. My husband watches lots of news channels all day and loves to pause tv's and forgets them, so oled is out in my house.

The G3 is simply amazing out of the box for sports. Colors are accurate, but not overly saturated. The screen’s brightness creates an incredibly vivid canvas for live sports. Motion is excellent too. Very easy to pick up fast moving objects in sports like tennis, hockey, basketball, F1, or golf.

Absolutely disagree with G3, go to Rtings site. Look up --TV Color Volume CHART G3 is RATED on the 24th it’s pathetic. S95C -9.1/10 A95k-- 9.0/10(assume A95L close to 9/10) Ge-- 8.3/10-it has Clear obvious pestle shade comparing MINI LED, n QD-OLED. D HIGHER Peakbrightness 😮u reach, d HIGHER color volume U NEED to have the Bright colors, sunset, LED lights like TRON movie , fire,,,, to look Vibrant vs boring vivid. Even U8K , QM8 at 9/10 When Black is very deep . The peak brightness 🔆 is ONLLY relevant if have EXTREME rich/high color volume otherwise looks pestle. 720p sucks! It defeats the purpose of buying high end panels. Kudos go out CBS Sports for broadcasting in 1080p60 for free. Next is NBC for doing fantastic job though not as good as the Tiffany network, CBS. FOX gets a strike for broadcasting in 720 and charging an outrageous amount for what it calls 4K, which is just 1080p60. Last, the worse of the major networks is ABC/ESPN which is awful. The last decade has not been kind to ESPN and hopefully a sale is in its future.

QN90C is QLED/Mini LED S90C is -- diff technology. Its (OLED+ QLED/Mini led) combine . So the S95C /S90C r d MOST premium . But everyday co summers do not know what is OLED , what is QD-OLED. So ppl will miss out d most premium panel if Samsung NMe as “QD-OLED” .Samsung call S90C OLED , but it’s ACTUALLY QD-OLED (oled + mini led)

@@uksa007 Didn't saw any changes in A95L compared to A95K, however LG G3 is a huge leap both in technology and picture quality leaving QD-OLED way behind. Don't forget to consider screen burn you'll get on QD-OLED alongside dull HDR content 😂

A95L will become King of TV Shootout 2023 👑lol, everything else would be Blasphemy. G3 is a ancient tech WRGB G2, disguised as new tech, however faded washed out colors are giving it away, LG were only truly concerned on pushing white pixel, MLA is not helping to revolutionize colors (unlike QD oled) Samsung on the other hand did well, and they are the true pioneers of TV technology, however their processor is mediocre, but fortunately they are indirectly working for Sony, who are taking 2nd Gen QD oled, adding the best processor and best TV speakers in the world, and removing all the flaws of the S95C (no more nuclear greens and scary Firmware updates lol)

SONY HAS HORRENDOUS colors . past gens last 4 yrs all FLAGSHIP -VERY BLUE tinted This year ALL PINK. 0:01 white is all pink 0:41 blue floor planks is purple. They are like just funny color, so sever , it takes someone really blindly love their Brand to enjoy it. For that Lone absolutely Samsung S95C, S95B will win over. If not ppl wait for -(made in Japan) Sharp AQUOS QD-OLED launch next yr. I wont be shocked SONY COME up another Sever tint.

Cuz it’s not that great ! U can get Hisense UX 65 “ 75” . I will take take Hisense Ux. Over G3 any day . I can not get any ! They don’t sell it in Canada 🇨🇦😂

@@fabricnt 6:21 the ppl on stadium --OLED--their yellow is very faint. The YELLOW on the right side wall screen is very transparent, n blue is transparent, n the red jacket is also kinda water melon 🍉. OLED suffer significant defect of having --LOW color Volume. U NEED COLOR to see things. MINI LED or QD-OLED are dominant for BEST color. D Color Volume are more important than Color accuracy also. Otherwise when we watch tv , bright things just looks white like sun. Things can look pestle quick :)
