So say I use timed dry but increase the time to the max, change temp etc you hold that button down to save the program. So when ever you want to select your most used program all you have to do is press that button and it will automatically load your favorite program. So i button press for favorite cycle instead of turning dial and changing settings. Thank you again for video!

Thanks for the review. I have what I think is an older version (purchased in late-2014) of these, and they're still going strong. I did want to make a couple of observations that may or may not apply to others. First, as I am on a septic system, I have to be very mindful of what goes down the waste system, including from the washer (obviously). Consequently, I use "safe" alternatives to laundry detergent, softener and other fluids. But specifically, I typically use essential oils for both the softener (Clary Sage) and for the Tub Clean cycle (Tea Tree and/or Eucalyptus). And I undertake the Tub Clean at usually twice a month as the build-up can be substantial. Something for folks to consider. Second, some may not be aware that, at least with my units, there is a sediment filter mounted just inside each of the water inlet valves. I check/clean these twice a year, and recommend that others do the same thing.
@TreborG27 жыл бұрын
If you have a chance, could you upload a video of one of your normal loads (the one you demo above is fairly light) and more specifically, what this unit like in the spin cycle? Most common complaints or worries when people look for Front Loaders, are leaks, stinks, and vibrations. That you've posted this 8 months later is awesome, and you don't make mention of leaks, which suggests at least to this point there were none. Stinks - You covered the the additional details about the clean-out and drain on the washer which is the first I've seen of it, which is great! So that leaves Vibrations. Thank you for this video, LG doesn't have them for all models, and in most cases its just their spit shine and polish to make the thing look good, so seeing real people's examples are awesome! Thx!

@davenwin19737 жыл бұрын
I will have to look up the specs on this washer , but my lower end LG operates a bit different. On my washer, the load sensing feature does not determine water usage, but how much detergent to use. The water level is preset, and will fill, until it maintains the water level. Mine does not have the turbo wash feature, and must tumble continuously to get all the clothes wet. I also had to set it to use more water, because 12 gallons does not het clothes clean. I'll have to check out the new water level, but I'm sure it's closer to 20 gallons, and gets my clothes clean. As for the stuff Lowes left from the washer, were the shipping bolts and special wrench. Do Not throw those away. You need to rescrew those back in, when you move it to another place. They're used to prevent major damage to the drum, when being moved to another place, other than another room, on the same floor.

Thanks for sharing!! Just a couple of questions: -Why aren't you using the storage bin underneath? -Why do you want to exchange the storage area for the actual twin mini washer, do you think that it's a better deal? -Have you tried washing a California King Comforter inside? I ask such questions because I were just at HomeDepot yesterday trying to decide between this particular LG front loader and the larger sized drum... Thanks again, I look forward o your response!
@reillycat716 жыл бұрын
Right now i only have the parts, like the wrenches and extra hoses it came with. I have found that nothing really fits in that drawer. I used to store a few quilts in our old washer set pedestals and not much else. I liked the idea of have the mini washer for tiny loads, like when my daughter tells me after I have finished all the laundry that her school gym outfit needs to be washed. She always does that too! I only have queen sized bedding so I am not sure how big of a comforter it could accommodate. You might want to consider the larger tub size or check LG.com. They are a great company and usually answer questions pretty quickly. I hope this helps, if you have any other questions I will try to answer as quickly as possible. We have out house up for sale so I haven't been online as much lately.

Thanks for the video I have this washer and dryer BUT no one seems to know how to use the functions. It would be nice if someone shows EACH function and how it works and for what does it work for. Apparently the IDIOTS at LG don't speak English and don't understand our culture and they just hang up on you. DISGUSTING. That's the world we're in. So basically you CANNOT use all functions for all settings. I wish someone would know how they work. We can't get anyone on the phone anymore to help us. LOVE IT BUT I DO NOT KNOW ALL THE FUCTIONS.

too much functions, which think are unecessary. the more basic, the better. that's why i always like speed queen. almost all of the components are metal. all of these crabs are mostly plastic.
