This webos is the reason I took back my c2 and bought a philips tv. Lg might have best tvs bit they now also have the worst os on a TV. I used to love webos. Still if people feel like me then it'll show in lg sales figurs. Most of my friends and their family were on lg and those updating their tv this year went philips samsung and a couple of sony oled. And why they all agree that the new Web os socks. Does lg not realise they all had lg tvs largely.because of the webos

This is very informative, BUT. . . . I have no idea what you're doing with your fingers to cause the selections shown on the screen, and sometimes I don't even know what the selection was. I have no WebOS 6.0 background, so working the LG Magic Remote is a mystery to me. It would help us newbies to show a lower level of operational detail by pointing items out with your left hand as you select them and shift them around..

Lol the CX with the ui everyone liked just got the full screen UI update.. You can change it back to the original one that doesnt take up the entire screen thankfully. They should give all models the option to switch to OS 5 style.

​@@TVguyDarko Just a thought re mw's suggestion, I have always had Samsung TVs and so for me the more in-depth review was not only very educational, it helped me decide to try a current LG TV I was considering. To add to that, for me personally, I found your pace perfect, and refreshingly natural, to the point, and without labouring on any area too long. I'm guessing that you are probably already familiar with LG TVs mw, and so would have enjoyed a kind of 'glide through', but without wanting to offend you, I just wanted to thank Darko for his very useful/helpful video, and really thoughtful presentation in the hope that he doesn't change his style...it's great stuff!

Hey Marco - sorry I missed your comment. Thanks for watching and supporting me! The recommended settings for that content are the same as in my picture settings videos - all the content is following the same recommendations, so all you need to do is figure out which setting brings you closer to that original information and which is just something added by the manufacturer without any benefit.

Hi, multi view is working if you use (on Android) smart view (top of screen) to mirror the screen.

The downside of lg is Lacking Webos version upgrade, you can't upgrade the webos Latest or newtest version for example if you buy the lgtv comes with webos 6.0 then lg tv releases webos 6.1 then you can't upgrade to the newer version of webos and Higher, unlike android tv you can upgrade android 10 to 11 versions all the time depending of the year of your tv, Lg webos Obsolete too quickly in their tv because of their owned Operating system webos version can't be upgraded anymore.

I have 3 LG 55" TVs that I use for a flight simulator. I also have a 22" touch screen monitor that I use for the flight instruments. I run them with windows11. When I try to calibrate the TVs and monitor, the calibrate feature does not recognize the touch screen monitor as a touch screen monitor. Is there a way to delete the touch features from the LG TVs as this might be interfering with the 22" monitor?

Hello Darko, fantastic video, very helpful. I unfortunately did not have auto updates “off” until today therefore, my Home Screen dashboard updated last week and 3 upper panels vanished. I no longer am able to view the weather, notifications or user profiles. I searched all through the settings to try and fix but could not find anything. I have one large panel on top now which says “webOS”. The trending now panel is underneath and customizable apps underneath that. I hope you have a suggestion to help. I already tried to do factory resets, and this did not fix the issue. Thank you.

Hey Helen, thanks for the comment! What I would suggest that you try is to change LG services county from the one you currently have to any other. Once this is done see if the panels are available. If yes, repeat the process and select the country which you originally had. To change LG services go to Settings - All Settings - General - System - Location - LG Services Country. I did try the “automatic location” setting too after the restart. Unfortunately, the 3 top panels did not populate on my Home Screen. I wonder if this is because the automatic updates was set prior to me toggling it off two days ago. It might be too late. Thoughts?

Hey Helen, I've tried to replicate the issue on my LQ63 TV, but couldn't so far... What I did realize is that top 3 panels are not displayed when the TV is not connected to the internet. Then it says "Enjoy LG TV's smart functions by connecting to a network". Is your TV connected to the network via WiFi or Ethernet? Try also this: All settings - Devices - TV Management - disable Quick Start+ General - System - Additional Settings - disable Home Auto Launch and Home Promotion. Let me know does it improve the situation... Good luck :)

@@TVguyDarko We can actually go back to the old home screen layout by opening the Settings menu from the remote, then clicking *General* > *Home Settings* > *Home Screen Style*. Under Home Screen Style, select “Home Screen-Basic” to go back to the previous screen layout! Hope this helps.

This os is the reason I took my c2 back. Webos back in 2020 was awesome this is a mess and the reason I'm a sony TV person now. They had me at weos bit l9st me at webos 2021 22. Everything I want is under the apps list yet you can't get rid of those 3 huge windows that take up a good third of your tv
