THANK YOU! My husband had flipped down the breaker box switch & hadn't returned it. I spent 45 minutes diagnosing, cleaning & watching videos... but I finally called LG. Mine will heat up, but stops prematurely every single time, and the flow sense indicator will come on. It takes 3-4 times to completely dry. I clean out the filters every time I turns off. I’m a single mom of four, so any cheap fix tips I would greatly appreciate. Also I’ve also pulled out the dryer took off the back tin hose connection and vacuumed everything out and as far down the vent I could. I will do the outside vent today too. Let me know if there is anything else I can do. Thanks. 😊

Hi, I've been hoping someone might have an idea how to troubleshoot my LG dryer issue. I've got a fairly new LG dryer equipped with flow sense. The issue I'm having is within the past few weeks, the dryer isn't drying clothes and shutting off a cycle after only approximately five minutes. Initially, I was getting the flow sense error when I tried troubleshooting with ThinQ. After cleaning out the vents, taking the dryer completely apart and cleaning it out, we then went a step further and paid a service to inspect the ductwork only to find out it was completely clean. I even replaced the moisture sensor and still have the same issue. Whenever I run the ThinQ diagnostic, comes back clear. Wondering if you have any other ideas for troubleshooting that I could try. Thank you for your help!

We had the same issue as well but then after about of months after buying the dryer it completely stopped running heat 😵😔… after two months of waiting to get a technician out to come look at it they though it was the fuse that turns the heating element off and on so they replaced it and the heating element just in case …. The dryer is heating now but !! It’s still not fully drying the clothes but I have noticed it’s like fighting itself … the cool setting is always on an I personally think this is the issue … I’ve only had the dryer run now for two days or so and I have to force it to fully dry the clothes by putting it on two outs of speed dry 🤦🏼♀️ pretty sure it will go out soon again … we will see but maybe check and see if you are having that cool setting running threw the full dry cycle as well I’m starting to think this is a manufacturing issue with a lot of these dryers … I see a lot of it but no one has been able to resolve the issue so far that I have see the LQ thinQ app says my dryer is fine and it’s not throwing a code even when I had no heat 😶… will report if it is fixed or if it goes out again

Hi John I have an ee1 error code. I have replaced the thermistor, blower thermostat, high limit thermostat, and thermal fuse.. issue I put wet clothes in the dryer.. my fault completely.. so I was able to run my dryer for a short time but after 5 minutes my high limit thermostat trips.. i ordered a new one it worked for about 10 minutes but then high limit blew again.. I could not trip the new high limit thermostat..it would not pop back down like the old high limit thermostat did.. so after replacing the thermistor and blower thermostat I put the old highimit thermostat back in and then got my first error code .. prior to that i was not receiving any error codes?

So the landlord called a tech who charged him $250 to flip the switch because we didn't know where it was or that it was off. Well I cleaned the condenser out because I wasn't sure if that's what was wrong. Well since I cleaned it now the moisture from the clothes is dripping from the condenser and causing it to leak. Hi! The temperature a dryer reaches depends on the make and model of the dryer, as well as the setting at which the dryer is running. Your dryer uses heat to warm the water in your clothes and turn it into vapor. On average, most dryers can get around 125 to 135 degrees Fahrenheit. ^Nolito

I'm not on those platforms. Here's the issue. I have a D80 but it was checked and clear. I've only had it since after Christmas. When I use normal/sensor dry it was running perfectly and was hot. Now it's not heating unless I turn off energy saver which is it's default. Note, that was not an issue in the past. Manual low heat is not heating but high heat is. I love my LG products, but I can't get a person on the phone to check it and it has the smart diagnostic capability.
