Now that Daniel is around again, and Campbell is being forced to work at the camp, we could still get that interaction between them in a possible season 4. In fact, since Campbell seems (maybe) to be on a path to redemption, we could even see them against each other. I'd personally love that.

... Not enough angst, though. Like threats that David will die in unknown location, a place where Max doesn't know, or torture David. I watched this, and I already expected it when "David" acted weird. But I am satisfied enough that Daniel switched David, and Max will save kidnapped David. This is what we, writers in Camp Camp fandom, always loved and favorited, but if add torturing David and we'll cry in joy that our fanfiction finally happened. Yeah, we're really that fucked up like the writers in Camp Camp. P.S : I laughed so hard when Max said "He acted like a good camp counselor for a change.", and David said "I'm gonna cry on that remark for two hours later." while smiling. Poor David.

I heard it. I am just making a reference to what I saw with people thinking "Didn't he die" and my rule of thumb which is "No body, no death" and that for all they know, he could've had his stomach pumped etc. Just unless my version of S2E1 was different, he consumed the poison and then we saw the ambulance so death wasn't confirmed for me at least :)

Watching this reaction made me realise you can see so much of Daniel's body language as fake David. Even some of his inflections, like when he was talking about that snack break, are very Daniel esque. It's a great attention to detail.

When I watched this episode for the first time, I didn't even realize he wasn't blinking. But, I immediately recognized the attitude. It just felt a lot like Daniel's behavior. Right before the reveal, I restarted the episode and seen that "David" wasn't blinking. I was literally shouting at my computer screen, "IT'S DANIEL, IT'S MY FUCKING CULTIST BOI DANIEL!!!" I was SOOO fucking happy for Daniel's return, especially since I... might have a bit of a crush on him... BUT WE WON'T TALK ABOUT THAT RIGHT NOW EHEH-

Last year's special was so good, genuinely scary, focused on everyone in turn, good plotline. This one was just... it was really bad in comparison. Limp plot, basically focused on Max and David and the Dadvid in in it was so CRAP! Even though Daniel returning is cool,, it could have been played way better.
