Meant to say, maybe try some camber on the wing to get it to kite up in to the wind a little better. It has been too cold here for any bungee launch but it is beginning to warm up!I think the F3B ships use as much as 12-15° if I'm not mistaken. Work up to it, little at a time. Of course you may need a bit of down trim to compensate.

That hill looks nice for getting some stick time. Have you tried 'slermaling' on the windward side of that hill? I hear the Libelle does well on the slope. Doesn't take much wind. I fly my DLG's on the slope all the time. Of course it's quite different than flat field thermaling. Enjoy!

Thx, Kirk - our club has now done two Libelles and we are building two more. I have also done 2 Alula's with tow hooks. Lots of fun & yes I have thrown my carbon ship up the slope and got some good flights along the ridge.
