The Dept of Education spends more by multiples than most contries. The majority of the money goes to administration. And we are number thirty-seven in education amongst th nations in the world. Videos that you have reviewed have shown the lackluster results of edcucation, with the on the street quizzes. That coupled with nation test scores, passing people to the next grade when they fail, not giving real grades, it's a mess. The elimination is a Trump proposal. The Department of Education is fifty something years old, and is a failing government entity. It puts the teachers union above the children.

So why don't we do what we do to foreign countries, tax goods and services going into and out of California? They are already losing businesses due to crime and lack of punishment for that crime. I know it sounds awful but really sometimes you need to knock people off their high horses when they become ignorant to what the population needs. If you take away the safety zone between the crime, homeless, drugs, and the wealthy and ignorant to everyday life and watch those 2 worlds collide I believe you will see an immediate about face on what they will want done. We are seeing a gradual realignment of the country back to center-right politics. This played out over six decades, and we are seeing the results of that now with the return of populist sentiments (as seen in both parties). Since then, Republicans have controlled both chambers of Congress nine times, and there have been three split Congresses. Democrats have only controlled both chambers four times. The social upheavals of the 50s, 60s, and 70s sowed the seeds of Democrat decline. The party became the home of what we called "radicals" back then (and which we call "progressives" today).
