Verse 9:123 was revealed with a battle-like situation and several conditions and contexts in the background. It commands the Muslims to fight those who are hostile to them and strategically starting from the nearest ones. How do we know this? It is because elsewhere the Quran commands the believers to cease hostilities if the other party also ceases implying that the hostilities can never resume unless the other party initiates the hostility.

I have been trying to become a good listener. Sometimes I thought I am right, like arrogance, like I know everything, so I starts to criticize, judge and convey some solution during speech before the end. Doesn't think about the situation and what opposite person expect from me. Like an interruption. Also I predict myself what opposite person going to talk next and I becomes angry. And I says you thought like this, u doesn't have any right to speak like that etc. And starts fight after few minutes good thoughts comes and say why you did like that, that is not fair, he/she needs your support to listen and some valuable suggestions. After watching this lesson I realized that listening need attention and patience. I will start to be a good listener. Dear Brother, this video very helpful to rethink about my concepts and thoughts. എനിക്ക് ഏറ്റവും ഇഷ്ടം സംസാരിക്കാൻ ആണ്. ഏത് category പെട്ട ആളുകൾ ആയാലും ( മുതിർന്നവർ, പ്രായമായവർ, എന്റെ age ഉള്ളവർ and ചെറിയകുട്ടികൾ ) അവരുമായി എത്രയും പെട്ടന് link ആയി സംസാരിക്കും. ചിലപ്പോഴൊക്കെ ചേട്ടൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ തോന്നാറുണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഇടക്ക് കയറി പറയുന്നതാണോ, ഞാൻ പറയുന്നത് അവർക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമായില്ലേ എന്നെല്ലാം. എന്നാലും ആ സ്വഭാവത്തിന് മാറ്റം ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല. ഇന്നും അങ്ങനെ സംസാരിക്കുന്നു. പിന്നെ ചിലരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നല്ല ഒരു കേൾവിക്കാരനും ആകാറുണ്ട്. ചേട്ടൻ പറഞ്ഞ ഈ കാര്യങ്ങൾ കൂടെ try ചെയ്യിത്തുനോക്കണം. കാരണം ഞാൻ ആദ്യം പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഇടക്ക് കയറി പറയുന്നത് ഒഴുവാക്കാൻ. Question about interruption: I usually do not interrupt anyone in the middle of a conversation no matter who... But sometimes have a lot of thoughts, mostly difference of opinion and additions sometimes... I keep it to the end but forget most of it when it is my turn to ask questions... I tried writing it down... That helps a little but do not really work during a 30 mins video conference with 5-6 members on it... and writing it down distract me from the listening part and some times loose context... I have noticed that it happens mostly when the topic is not my area of expertise... Another problem I have seen is that some people are stuck at a point and talking around it... They don't really move forward with a conversation... If it can be explained in 5 mins they usually take 15 mins... So, in that case, would it be so bad to interrupt? I am sure many people have this kind of a problem... Not sure if you will read this comment but if you do, appreciate if you could talk about such a scenario... Thank you for the videos btw... Very informative... 👍
