Handsome uncle, Lydia!! My family ate fish every Friday and when we sat down to eat, small fish bones were not a problem because we were hungry. Many Americans today have never even seen a whole fish in the supermarket. All they know are fillets. What kind of fish is Branzino? I love watching you cook Lydia, because it is evident you love to cook and enjoy food.

Oh Lidia, I've been watching you for many years. I grew up on LI where seafood is plentiful. We were a family of 8 children and my brothers all went out early to catch fish set crab nets and Mom would cook the meal. Now for the past 35 years I live in upstate NY and it's hard to find good fish and I don't drive. However I took a trip to Queens and went to a fantastic fish market and brought home some branzino among many other things. My granddaughter from the time she was 2 would fight me for the head. The cheeks have the mist delicious meat and she knew that. LOL. I'm old school and fish is my choice of protein over meat any day. Love how you cooked the fish along with the vegetables. Thank you for another enjoyable video. ❤❤❤

My mom and dad were avid fishermen! My childhood was spent at a lake, river, or the mouth of the Klamath fishing for salmon or trout. You don't see that much anymore because folks would rather buy their filets from the store. There is nothing better than fire roasted or cornmeal fried fish!

I love cooking fish whole too. I find it easier to skin and filet after it’s cooked, and I can use the head, tail and bones for stock, I just wish more grocery stores would carry whole fish.

People today are very spoiled. They don’t wanna bother with the work of removing the little fish bones or dealing with the head or the tail. They’d rather just get a tiny little fillet that’s overpriced.
