"Don't waste your time hating, blaming, fighting, criticizing, judging others, negativity or trying to control others - This is a huge trap - Trying to control other people. Have no desire to control others but yourself. Have no desire to tell others how they're evil etc.. its all distraction, instead focus on what you need to do to be creative in your life. - You feel like a victim and you feel disempowered when you're not being creative."

Anyone who listens to this episode and applies it will have an amazing life. I started to follow Leo when I was 34 years old, I am now 41 and I can tell you that my life has changed in such a way that it is impossible to put it into words. If you are on your 20s and you have listened to it, you have just discovered a mine of gold. Trust me!!

Omoy Pujara I was recently divorced, then lost everything I had on a bad business partnership, so I was living in my mothers house in Brazil (South America). Now I have a 6 figure salary (in EUR not USD) working in Switzerland and Netherlands (Europe), I have an extremely pretty girlfriend who shares the same value as me and I am fully actualizing myself since the next step is to become fully independent. Is it okay for you? By the way; I also have been working out so managed to get extremely fit since body and mind are connected.
@j.l9670
@j.l9670 4 жыл бұрын
Omoy Pujara I will be very honest with you and I will tell you what really helps; watch the latest mini-series on Ego development, print out the research paper (which I did) read it twice. Then go back on the old videos from Leo and watch then all a couple of times each (which I did). At the same you do this, buy the book list which is on his website, then read 2 books a month (you can use Audible on most of them, which I did) then in 5 years time your life will be completely changed. I did it, so can you!

Omoy Pujara of course!! That is already implied, but yes meditation. I wake up very early and do 30min meditation during the week, and one hour, sometimes 2 hours on weekends. But, I am a long long long very long way from where I envision my self to be on all aspeccts.....

Here are some NOTES I picked up from this series. I find it essential to write down the main points for extra clarity when I study this stuff. Hope some will find it useful. WARNING: Notes never do justice to the original content. I encourage you to read it only if you’ve watched the video. PART 1 Life needs to be lived to be understood. It is full of traps. It can get really bad, much worse than you can imagine and it can get really good, much better than you can imagine. Life is multi-dimensional. To live a good life you need to learn how life works, how you work, and how you can fit into it. 1. Be true to yourself and figure it out by yourself. Spend more time reflecting than intaking information. The biggest traps are ideologies and belief systems. It is a blessing society gives you many cool things (technology, entertainment, culture, art, reading) The quality of your mind determines the quality of your life. There is nobody to blame for anything in your life because your mind is contributing to everything Mind often likes to project more than reflect. It seeks life is material and it is accosting you, but your mind is creating reality. It is subjective. You won't fully understand how life works if you only subscribe to other belief systems. 2. Understanding and learning should be your number #1 priorities. Take the process of learning very seriously. Question everything. Curiosity, Passion, Desire, Ambition. Follow your feelings and sharpen your intuition. You have to deal with the hand you’ve been dealt. You have to feel what you want to be. There’re no simple answers in life. Learn to love the complexity. 3. Be committed to the truth. Truth is important because it’s all that exists. Suppression, denial and ignoring is not the attitude you want to have. Instead, try to face problems and difficulties head-on. You can’t lie to others without lying to yourself. Life is deeply counterintuitive 4. Be proactive Proactivity at school means independent researching. Proactivity at work letting your opinion be heard. Be engaged with life. PART 2 The real danger in modern life is complacency. Fail more, fail faster, fail better. Commit to challenging yourself in life. Build a strong work ethic. You usually get what your lowest standard is. HAVE HIGH STANDARDS! Aim beyond basic survival. Commit to never doing mindless work. Put your work in advancing human kind in a conscious way. (Invent, create, lead, craft, advance, write, make, have adventures) Don’t have too much arrogance to then not be able to do grunt work. Make sure it is important, a stepping stone. Don’t overplan your future. Be adaptable, improvisational and opportunistic. Improvise, adapt, overcome. Have a vision. Let your passion guide you but leave room for exploration. Keep putting yourself in new situations. Move to different locations. Don’t imitate others. Be original. Go beyond mainstream most popular sources. Don’t get distracted with petty human shit! (vanity, politics, rumors, fighting, hating) Ground yourself in something metaphysical and existential. Don’t overload your schedule with too much commitments and obligations. Leave room for the inner work, solitude, meditation, contemplation, self-reflection, visions, dreams, side-projects, creativity. The deepest answers in life are found within yourself in deep self-reflection. Listen to your heart, highest Self, creative inspirations and passions. Do (week-long) retreats at least once a year. Don’t control anybody else but yourself. People in society will try to trick you. Beware of scams and tricks and deceptions. (business, advertising, relationships, books, media, etc.) First be skeptical before trusting. Stop trying to get love from others or things. Make these sources tertiary. Be non-needy (but don’t be people-pleasing). Once you set a goal as a commitment you will orient yourself towards resources and ways to help you achieve it. There are many stages of development, not everyone is at the same level. (Spiral Dynamics, Ken Wilber’s Integral Theory, Nine Levels of Increasing Embrace in Ego Development) You can become superhuman by developing yourself. (Leo, dude, make a video about them!) Reality is perspectival, relative and subjective. Reality is the perspective you take on it. Create a meta universal operating system which is able to deal with applications from all other operating systems. That will enrich your experience and understanding. It will make you more loving, creative, flexible, less arrogant, less selfish. There is more happening in life than meets the eye. * Core values and principles: Creativity, heart, love, intuition, independence of mind, clarity of mind, lifelong learning, leading, authenticity, radical open-mindedness, passion, vision, ambition, purpose, spirituality, fearlessness, truth, raising your consciousness, work ethic, focus, the ability to concentrate your mind, wisdom, service to others, selflessness, solitude and self-reflection, questioning everything, curiosity, going beyond materialism and survival. Follow up on this work every day, contemplate them and improve them. * Your biggest obstacles will be: Distractions, complacency, laziness and the fact that no one around you is doing it. It’s not about reaching the peak. P.S. Thank you Leo, so greatly. I am so grateful for finding you in my high school two years ago. You’ve helped me immensely in my approach to life. Thanks to you I’ve let go of many of my past limiting beliefs, deceptions and biases. I am not steadily working on my life purpose and have much clearer goals and ideals. I’ve gone from feeling depressed to feeling deep love for all of life. I would really love it if you made some adds for your channel you’ve alluded to in your video about your Patron account. Keep the gems coming!

Tip on the love part: I just woke up this morning after having this dream about someone who is not in my life anymore and was just overwhelmed with gratitude and then that turned into so much love for everything and everyone. So if you ever feel like love is lacking try becoming super grateful for everything and thank the universe for it and really just sit with this deep gratitude toward your past experiences and present ones. Do this daily when you wake up and this will most likely convert to real love that radiates from you.

iGhost i don’t think you are a mistake, as in you arw a product of evolution, an evolution that pushed forward: just like we are all doing with each other, pushing each other to become our best selves. That is the universe’s inherant wisdom to create and push forward: we are part of the universe, the universe is now creating everything through us, the universe is making decisions through us: and therefore evolution is still happening-biological evolution, psychological evolution, moral evolution etc. The purpose of life is to reach perfect evolution, which means all to become perfectly One. Maybe after that, the big bang blows up again and it all begins again.

@engineerzainub625
@engineerzainub625 4 жыл бұрын
@Joshua William Thank you for your suggestion but I have a different perspective. I don't repeat the lessons to memorize, because personal development is more about applying the principles, not just to fix in memory or just sitting and recalling the lessons. For me, repetation opens new thoughts every time and I can relate my recent experiences in relation to that topic... That's my style of learning, may be yours could be different. 🙂
@engineerzainub625
@engineerzainub625 4 жыл бұрын
@@kyler4836 yes I agree with you. I think for building a deep foundation, the principles need to be reinforced both psychologically and by actions. And to reprogram the subconscious mind, we need repetition. That's my opinion but I'm open to other arguments as well. 🙂
@engineerzainub625
@engineerzainub625 4 жыл бұрын
@Joshua William well, it depends on how u define memorization. I mean we all have some subconsciously programmed lessons, that we are unaware (at the conscious level) and yet we act upon them on daily basis. So, here m talking about reprogramming the subconscious by listening and reflecting on the ideas. Because I can only memorize a statement like Leo said "people pleasing mentality is crap", but has my subconscious accepted it on a deeper level, to act upon it? I don't know.. Unless I keep on practicing the idea and reinforcing it through my experiences..

Some of the points that I picked up (watch the entire video though its absolutely touching) : -Youth is a highly valuable resource in life, don't waste it. Settling for anything less is wasting it. Savour life, it is the ultimate DIY, its not a homework. -Maintain a certain standard, don't be friends with everybody, have a standard. -Develop a very strong work ethic. -Dont assume what people say in the face value, the society is full of trickery. -Live in different cities -Don't get too busy with work, have a time set aside for contemplation, introspection and self reflection. -Don't seek for love from others or things. Creativity and Spirituality will fill your cup of love so that you can give it to others. -Go beyond the survival mentality. -There is silliness all around you and the society, which is highly average. Those are distractions. -Be steady in this path, its a long journey.

Are you or do you need to tell anyone else this? or are you just confirming your rules ? It all just goes to show we actually do create our own reality - we listen to what we want, we act how we want, we blame who we want, and we get angry when we want, and shut out anything that doesn't comply with what we want our world to be. Which proves we create everything. It's sort of funny really, I structure everything I act on or attract or repel, and either accept that someone else has influence? I let them have influence so I created and invited the influence didn't I? And the fact I'm replying to your summary is me creating the summary to reply to.

Hi Leo I’m a 17 year old girl from Sweden and I’ve been watching your videos for about one and a half years now and at first I just watched them without taking action but last summer I started a daily habit of meditation (I’ve procrastinated and been sloppy many times ofc lol) and in the past couple of months I’ve added a daily concentration exercise before my meditation and it has honestly helped me a lot. When I compare my mental health a year ago with now I can tell that I feel generally much better now. I’m really thankful for your videos and I’m glad I accidentally stumbled across you. I’ve cried several times watched. I’ve never felt moved by something as much as your videos have moved me. Even though I have no clue about enlightenment something in me is calling for me to continue down this path and every time I fall off track I always come back. Who would have thought, three years ago I was a huge fan of Richard Dawkins, I have his book “the god delusion” on my book shelf and now look at me lol. Anyway I might email you in 20 years when I’m 37 who know :))) thank you 🙏🏻 (also you’ve helped me improve my English a lot I’m acing my English tests)

Leo I want one day to meet you in person, give me few years too fix myself and my financial situation and then I will come back to this message take a screenshot and send it to you. some notes • Ur youth is ur most precious resource . • Be very careful of how u are inversing ur time and energy . • Ur greatest enemy is laziness and taking life for granted. • Project -"Do it urself " . Play the game of life. The ultimate MMO. Adventure . Work of art. • - what can I create from my life ? • We get lost in a freedom of our world. • Take risks and don’t be afraid to fail in life. Fail more and faster. • The greatest failure will be sitting around and doing nothing. • Commit to challenging urself. Stop looking for life to be easy . Stop looking for easy ways. Always go for solid things. Ling term. The easier u trying to make life the harder it will be. Life is not about finding shortcuts. • Develop a strong work etic. • Set a high standard for urself. Or U will end up with ur lower standards . Also avoid perfectionism. Don’t go overboard. • Aim beyond basic survival in life. The greatest joys in life are not basic survival and pragmatic. Survival is bare minimum and we have to go beyond it. • Commit to never do mindless work . Those can be a steeping stones U have to put urself in a situation that u are contributing for mankind in some conscious manner. • Don’t overplan ur future. Be adaptable, improvise . Give ur life room to breath and unfold. Let ur passion guide u and leave room for exploration . Cause The greatest opportunities that comes in ur life , u cant predict them or see them . • Be careful not to get stuck in a rut. Don’t tie urself up with too much commitments. U want a freedom to explore urself more. In ur 20 and 30 u want room for exploration more. • Force urself to be authentically u . Don’t imitate other too much . Find ur own voice and style. Inovation and creativity . Go beyond main stream sources. (avoid stupid stuff tho. ) Self discovery process. The greatest joy in life comes from discovering urself and being ur authentic self. • Don’t get distracted by petty "human shit". - gossip. Politics. Judging . … so on . Ground urself in something beyond that. - think what ur life would be like if u lived by urself all alone. This stuff is not important at all. Focus on ur vision. • Don’t overload ur scedrule with many commitments and obligations. Live room for solitude. The deepest lessons from life are found within urself in times of solitude and self reflection . • Don’t waste ur time fighting others. Negativity . Or trying to control others. • People and society will try to trick u . And skim u and deceive u . Be careful . And it is just there survival strategy . Don’t trust and believe everybody . But also don’t turn it into a paranoia. Notice how other people are tricking u and how u are tricking other people. • People are ignorant most of the time. Not evil . • Stop trying to get love from other of from things. There are inly two forces running ur life. Fear and love . U need to feel other peoples empty cups. Not running around like a rat with an empty cup and asking to feel it . • Changing how u are in the world. Changing ur being at identity level , that is where deepest results come from . • There are many different stages of development and this levels of development are totally different ways looking at the world and being in the world. Super human beings also . • Reality is persperctival , subjective , relative. Reality is perspective u take on it. And everybody take different ones. Every perspective is limited. And u need skill to jump between those and not get stuck in one. • There is more happening in life than meets the eye. • Core values for living the good life: *Creativity *Heart *Love *Intuition *Independence of mind *Clarity of mind *Life long learning *Reading *Authenticity *Radical openmindedness *Passion *Vision *Ambition *Purpose *Spirituality *Fearlessness *Truth *Raising your consciousness *Work ethic *Focus / the ability to concentrate your mind *Wisdom *Service to others *Selflessness *Solitude *Self reflection *Questioning *Curiosity *Going beyond materialism and survival Follow up on these principles every day for the rest of your life. Keep going deeper and deeper with them This is backbone of ur life. This principles. • Ur biggest obstacles here will be : -Distrations -complacency -laziness -fact that nobody around is doing it and they will discourage u.

However, I focus directly on the act you can do. Such a great list from Leo. Leo I’ve been watching your videos since I was 14 or 15. And you have really really really helped me take myself to a much higher level cognitively. Your videos alone are like a mental workout you don’t just tell people stuff. You lead people to the “fountain of knowledge” you walk people through the process of discovering truth for themselves. You seriously have been just about the most effective guide for me on my journey. but as a person who for example never wants to have some half assed conversation with someone who is not on the same page with me and not even communicating properly that goes nowhere I really appreciate-I mean beyond appreciate your approach to videos these thorough explanations. So appreciative that I feel almost silly for even saying it. Needless to say you truly are a one of a kind human being and one of a kind teacher. I can see gods reflection in your eyes clear as day and i know you don’t do this work to receive any kind of appreciation from people but just wanted to express how grateful I am for you, I feel very lucky to have found you when I was in middle school looking up how to attract women!
