i really enjoy your videos, i think you are a great teacher, i played the piano growing up but never took it as seriously as I should. When I was an adult, I took an interest in it and started learning pieces I enjoyed listening to, I'm not technically good but I really enjoy playing and learning

I really enjoyed this video. I am a pianist, not a concert artist, but I totally get this experience in the sense of all the things that run through your head. My teacher always tells me the practice will pay off and it does.

I loved this video so much. I can relate to it (and it brings back some memories for me, both good and bad). Back when I was performing almost every day for various things, I actually enjoyed it...same sets of music over and over for week(s) at a time, so one bad day wouldn't ruin the experience of all the good days. Lots of collaboration with other groups. Things like that. But, the one-off performances? Terrible. Ugh. You work so hard for so long for one presentation of the hard work, and if things go badly it's really deflating. So, I try to remember the times when I performed frequently. I have health issues now, so I am unable to perform, but I often see the bright side in that I didn't enjoy it all that much anyway. Too stressful. So now I record for KZbin instead, which is possibly more stressful, but in a way that I have more control over! (I am supposed to go into the studio to records parts of an album for some current composers. Very different from live performances, but I prefer it.)

As a member of the audience there is no need to contemplate the pressure of 'having to perform'. Most of us have, at some time had to enter an examination room of one sort or another. The professional performer faces a lifetime of endless examination and scrutiny.

You are absolutely wonderful and brilliant. Be mindful of your health balance though. A little less calories and a bit of resistance training with weights. You will have a clearer mind. You are a little big around the waist. Be careful for your health. Love and respect always
