Aussie adaptability , and knowing however far away we are , everyone is still connected in our nostalgic love of wide open planes 🎉🎉🎉🎉 happy times

It's nice to see you 2 just kicking back and taking stock of things. If you felt an affinity with north west Tasmania, it's the missing piece of the Grand Canyon. They were joined 1 billion years ago back when Australia was up in the northern hemisphere. Plenty of links to confirm it. I posted a map in jpeg format but KZbin didn't like it. This was confirmed by geologists in 2018 studying the geomorphology of Rocky Cape, between Stanley and the Nut & Wynyard / Burnie.

Another Aussie fan here🥰I made sourdough bread every week for a few years and I found keeping the hydration level high give more air pockets in the bread crumb. In other words use less flour and when working with the dough don’t keep adding more flour but oil your hands with olive oil to prevent your hands sticking to the dough. Happy baking Sending love and come back to Aus 🥰🎉🎉🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘

Good Job Tia in the baking department… Important to understand when baking Sour Dough Breads.. A high hydration dough (around 75-80% hydration) is crucial for achieving open crumb. This means that the dough is wetter, allowing for more gas expansion during baking. It takes many times to achieve the perfect loaf… But from my experience it means the more I try the more bread and Real NZ butter I get to eat too! 😉😊 Oh and the oil change Tia… Good teacher I think helps and Cheveyo is patient more than me I feel . Watching from home in Vietnam 🙏🏻✌🏻

For a lighter, open texture in bread - and cakes and some pastry - it’s all about getting air into the mixture and keeping as much in while you’re preparing it. When making bread, think light hands - like you’re kneading a cloud. Not sure about sourdough bread - how light you want it - but have you tried sifting the flour, or some of it, to get more air in at the start? How long do you leave it to prove/rest? Catching up with your first vlogs again. Can it be over 3 years since I found you on KZbin? ❤🧡💛🥰😍😘

Beautiful area you peeps live in , looks nice and quiet too. In my neck of the woods in the outer Melbourne burbs ( straya )living 100 yards away from a 6 lane main road , and about another 200 yards away from that a 6 lane freeway , at times it sounds like theres a grand prix happening at the end of the street 😢. That bread looks grouse, i remember as a kid wed buy a bread similar to that except long and cut a nice one inch slab and toast it on the stove top at breakfast time , then smother it in butter with a very very light swipe of Vegemite or alternatively melt some cheese on top 😊 . I used to often make toast with one of those wire mesh camping toasters you sit on the camp fire ....... On the stove top 😊 ... Weirdness abounds😂. A little tip for breaking a tight nut or bolt free Tia, if you move your bod away from the bolt with your arms nearly straight rather than being all cramped up underneath it , hold the ratchet at the swivel point to keep it exactly straight onto the bolt and grab the handle at the very end , that will give you about 3 times the leverage. Clearly Cheveyo is a car guy , for sure we got our car culture from the US , one of the old ford car dealers i worked at many years ago was established in melbourne in 1917 , like you guys we had some pretty cool muscle cars back in the day which id love to show to you at a show one day . Sadly as modern computer cars are taking over and becoming more souless ... Characterless boring computers on wheels , the good old cars are slowly being filtered out . Good to see you two keeping well , look forward to your next adventure.
