"I felt like me in a way I hadn't before." The BEST way to describe what the Camino does to you ❤ So happy to see celebs encouraging this life changing journey.

Honest and beautiful conversation. I also walked the Camino with my son. Words can’t describe the joy, struggle and revelations on the Camino. Thank you. ❤

Awe! I love your memory lane & affection for your past friends. Thanks to your example, I’m planning (God willing!) to do the Camino with my grandson after he graduates high school. This should be in 2031. I’ll be 74. Pray for me saints!!🤣🥰

Never get tired of Andrew. His new book, “Walking with Sam” is terrific. All his books are!

Such a good writer. I’m almost finished w/ “Walking with Sam”. He’s so perceptive and wise. This walk is a wonderful gift for him to share w/his son!

I really enjoy AM in any period of his life. I just heard this book with his son and I just could not stop listening.

Wait come back! Would have loved to know Andrew’s thoughts about Emilio’s movie about it, “The Way”. And Andrew really nailed how we feel about those movies.

The Camino begins as a Calvary and ends up becoming a mystical experience. No one comes back the same as when they left.

Never heard of this guy and so glad I stumbled across this clip to hear his stories, its all good out on the camino and although its changed so much there are still magnificent pockets of serenity in amongst the best pub crawl in the world.

you really made me recognise that I need to 'see' my son as an adult, I wonder if he'd agree to come with me.

I like Andrew and his movies. I’m not one to buy books so I went to the library and asked them to purchase the book. I would like to read the book based on the Camino and not so much from a parenting point of view however I have asked my oldest to join me on a Camino and not because of this book. If you have never heard of the Camino, it is a cool experience but if you do it, my advice would be to take your time during the walk. Hopefully I take my own advice for my next Camino.

How can you get information about walking the Camino? Am I too old for this? I'm 51.
@shainewarren1173 Жыл бұрын
I have heard of people in there 80s walking the Camino, so you are definitely not too old 😉. There is tons of info here on KZbin and of course plenty more can be found on Google. You can do it!

My husband and I just finished the Camino in July. We are both 56. Yes you can do it. But just know you will suffer. Make peace with the suffering. And GO.

I thought that “Weekend at Bernies” was problematic. After all I think a corpse starts to smell within an hour and you need smelling salts after a day. Just sayin’.
