Thank you bro for your videos you helped me so much getting myself together to join the military

Finally! You’d never believe how difficult it is to find a straightforward video like this on KZbin. I know it’s older but I really appreciate it. I’ve only got about 3 months left before I ship out and am getting increasingly more anxious so this helps a bunch. Thanks a lot!

done my basic at FT Sill, winter 01. dont forget the fireguard done more than my share of that. my battle buddy was a lazy ass, so filled in so much. got tired of it rolled the fucker out of bunk as DS walked in. he went straight to office, the idiot went back to bed that was a big mistake on his part. then at field training he slept day and night in tent and I in foxhole, Senior DS came running up from behind turned aimed rifle at his head seen canister turned around and let it happen. for anyone planning on joining never be that guy and never be the guy that rats both are bad for you.

@kidthndr27 жыл бұрын
You have your phone in reception however there isn't any service there. The limited spots with service were always being hogged by people all day and night to make there phone calls where they had reception. He will send you a letter first than you just respond with the address he sent you. We didn't know our address untill we actually got there.

Hey did you gain a lot of muscle in the Army? If you're stationed on base do you actually get to go to gyms on your time off? Is there a lot to offer on base? I took the Go Army virtual tour and it seemed too good to be true. Thank you in advance, I've been watching your videos for some months now because I'm looking into joining the Army at 18 or 19 and you provide a lot of good information.
@kidthndr26 жыл бұрын
I dont really go to the gym, but I'd imagine during your off time you would gain muscle if you went regularly.
@macburger50266 жыл бұрын
Gabriel Fate Gaining muscle really isn't that easy to do in the Army. The reason why is because of the fact that not only do we have long days of work, but also because most of us have to do mandatory unit PT every duty day. We don't get to choose what exercises we want to do, and we also do long runs a lot (the Army and the Marines do the most running). We can go to the gym during our time off, but we really can't gain muscle like we want because of what I talked about. Believe it or not, it might actually be easier to get more buff in the Air Force instead of the Army or even Marines because the Air Force is more chill and allows you more personal time. The Air Force *actually allows you to do PT on your own and only mandates morning unit PT like twice a week instead all five days like the Army and Marines do* So you get more time to work out on your own with the "chair force" and that would mean you'd be in the gym more instead of doing long runs and doing what the Army nowadays calls "PRT" like laying on the ground doing the "prone row" So you'd more likely be able to get more buff with the "chair force" instead.

Yo kidthndr2 Wanted to get your advice on this, my brother has been in since 2010 says the army is not good to join now I'm 26 married with two kids I want to join the army and I'm battling between active and national guard my wife is not really feeling active at all so just want to get your thoughts and thanks for the vids man really inspiring and informative.
@kidthndr27 жыл бұрын
So heres my thoughts, Your family comes first bro. Active is a tough life, you could get assigned to a unit with a high Optempo and that usually crushes marriages I hear. The ARMY will always be here but your family wont. I would sit down with your wife weigh out the pros and cons and try to come up with a good compromise. Maybe 1 contract active and the rest national guard. However If I were you , I would definitely rethink active being married I just haven't seen alot of good stuff to be honest. Best of luck toyou
