Sprints might not be that beneficial for a 2 mile goal, but intervals of say 2-5 minutes would be. By that I mean: warm up, 4 min hard, 2 min easy, repeat several times. Depending on your goals and fitness you can vary the "work" portion with the "rest" portion.

One of my boys aspiring to be a ranger got smoked every single day after he failed a run and they offered him an inhaler which turned out to be a trick and he never received one. Eventually he got the boot under medical reasons. And this guy was no push over he was as jacked as could be and could easily max out push ups and sit-ups without breaking a sweat. It’s just the running which fucked him and the drill sergeants got a hard on for him. Meanwhile his out of shape brother got through basic without a single issue. All subjective

Wassup dude I'm going to basic October 10th and I need to know exactly what would be good for me to do every night before bed
@kidthndr27 жыл бұрын
hmmm, its getting up early you should probably try to do, not really before you go to sleep.
@isaiahvelasquez35147 жыл бұрын

Ok I'd like to enlist in the army but I'm worried that I won't be able to be shipped to basic. My last mile I did was 15:00 about, and im worried about it. How can I improve my time? And If I could get some help with fitness it would help allot

I timed my self last week I got 9 min 30 seconds but I'm leaving in December. I'm been running 3 miles everyday with my girl who's a god at running. Do you think I will be golden when I get to basic?
@gray3347 жыл бұрын
9 min30 seconds for 1 mile
@kidthndr27 жыл бұрын
That's fine, wherever your at now , you will improve once you get to basic.

Tony Stark practice running two miles, not three, and focus on speed. 9:30 per mile is a good pace for a slower female... shoot for below 15 min 2 mile, especially if you are a dude. Look up army physical fitness run standards, or ask your recruiter.
