I would love to see this documentary in full! I wish the Mongolian nomads could have a teacher that traveled with them. It'll be sad if the nomad disappears...

I can appretiate that the crew just lets them talk about their life in their terms without any interjection. Thank you for the insight into a life so different from my own.

Speak for yourself. How dare you glorify poverty and hardship. Are you giving up your home with its running HEATED water, toilet, bed, food to eat, your computer, phone, access to grocery and other stores, schools, medical care, etc. to live in below zero temps with NOTHING? Of course not. You just think it's great OTHER people get to suffer like that.

@@Yesica1993 You're sick. You're mind and spirit are weak. Imagine calling a satisfying life, living in nature, one of poverty and hardship. Meanwhile, you're soft. You believe that this industrial civilization in the first world, the same you glorfiy for all the meaningless gimicks you mentioned, is endless. It's not sustainable, and what is not sustainable will not be sustained. Within a generation, likely quicker than that, this life is going to be yours and your decendants. Period.

What the old man said is absolutely true, the modern society is getting softer and softer by time because of comfort and now his childrens aren't able to do such jobs in the steppes since they're now soft and embraces comfort

>theres no future in this life Bro, your ancestors did this shit all day every day with no want for anything more. Youre here today because of people who did nothing BUT this for generations. The future is tomorrow, whether youre rich or poor. Ive learned that even though its not the best day ever, waking up to see the sun is the only future ill ever need. As long as i have that, there is a tomorrow.
