Overall Montreal is a better city if you want to raised a family with less violence cheaper house price. However, if you are a hustler or have a particulat skill set Toronto is the way to go.

Thank you for your video. A few things, the cold is very different between Toronto and Montreal. There's, on average, 5-6 degrees difference, and Toronto does not get the deep freeze as Montreal does. The rent in Montreal has increased significantly for 2 years now. Ontario's roads are amazing. There are way more food/restaurant choices In Toronto and more entertainment. Finally, Ontario has a higher income than Montreal. So even with the high cost of living, the salary/income is proportionate.

if you want quality in entertainment and food then you go to montreal, weather wise, its only 2 degrees difference in the two cities, theres a reason montreal has double the tourist than toronto, you can figure that one out yourself

Which city has the BEST MUSEUMS? I’d consider moving to either Montreal or Toronto but I’m scared of terrorism there and if I move to Montreal I’m afraid the people won’t like me or look down upon me cause I don’t speak French 🙄🙄 Not sure if it’s true but I also heard many Canadian’s don’t like Americans living there well that’s what I heard or maybe just in other areas way far from the cities I would also consider Vancouver but too many homeless and drug addicts there if I gonna move there I might as well stay in America 🤷🏼♀️

Visiting like a Tourist is COMPLETELY different from moving to live there. If you go to Japan as a Tourist, it is not reasonable to expect you to learn and use the Japanese language. But If you could go live in Japan, it would not be reasonable for you Not to learn and use Japanese. Plus, if you are not interested by Japanese language and culture why the hell would you go there, of all places? Plus if too many people move to Japan and not intergrate, then Japan will no longer be Japan. If too many people want to go to an isolated lake in the forest wilderness to go out in nature away from the city, but instead of enjoying the lake AS IT IS, recreate where they came from, build condos, shoping malls, have rock concerts, you just moved the problem and recreated what you got away from, you changed what made that lake different. Its the same thing with Moving to Montreal. Why are you not staying where you are? And why of all places on Earth do you want to go there?? Go there if you like the Culture and plan to speak French at some point. (It doesnt matter if you only use "Bonjour" and "Merci" to start). If thats not your cup of tea, no problem, to each his own, there are 31 flavors of icecream so cant all love the same one, there are plenty of other places in Canada to go to, theres PEI, Newfoundland, NewBrunswick, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchwan, Alberta, British Colombia, etc and 50 states to "choose" from if you can go to the US. Cheers Its like someone moving to Saudi Arabia and complaining they cant wear monokini, or go to France and complain that they are seeing monokini. Move to a place you like the way it is, and adapt to a certain degree. The place you move to will change over time, but doing so gradually and organically.

Montreal isn't racist. There are more French speakers than English and they prefer people learning and speaking french.

@@Tinuola - That's not my impression. In spite of the myth about French speakers being tolerant and Anglos being intolerant. I've found the reverse to be true. In my trips to Montreal and interactions with Quebeckers, I've found them to be far less sophisticated and cosmopolitan when compared to places like Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, or Vancouver. Perhaps it's because of the nature of Quebec culture and the understandable desire of French Canadians to protect it, I've found people in Montreal and Quebec to be parochial, insular, and much more prone to instantly categorise people.

@@Tinuola I will say this, Montreal is a beautiful city. However, I am black and have been across Canada, it is by far the most uncomfortably racist place I have been too. Toronto is not perfect, but the safe spaces for black people are prevalent. The black population in Toronto is influential and progressive, this gives you a strong sense of self. Montreal, you just pray to go into a Pharmaprix or a Jean Coutu without being stared at.
