Yeah that's why I try to think of something different everyday. I definitely don't take life for granted anymore especially in my late 30s.

Don't worry about that young woman try to live your life the best you can and let it go anyway we can't change that .I'm so glad to be alive and it leads you nowhere to worry about it .I'm so happy now to keep cool .the only thing it hurts me is when I see poor people living in the middle of the war .men is fool to fight against his own brother .it doesn't make sens . It's for this reason we can't shift the way of men are going through. What's a foolish way .however we should go ahead we don't have choice.And when God will want to end suffering then it'll be all right .God bless you Asiatic lady I'm Richard coming from Lyon in France

I’m blown away by your understanding of life. I’m a 37 yo doctor but somehow I also find myself thinking my life is not super meaningful. I worked hard to get where I am and came to realise life is not only about work but taking care of ourselves above anything else. Passions and definition of meaningful life change throughout years. You re such an inspiration.

highlights: 0:12 (1) average lifespan: 72 years, we spend 28 years sleeping, 7 yrs trying to sleep, 15 years working, 2 years overtime, 1 year commuting, 4 years eating drinking, 2.5 years education, 1 year cleaning, 1/3 year in bathroom, 12 years living life and most of probably spend it using technology. 144 months to live. Wow this was so good, your videos are an inspiration and such a good reminder for all of us, thank u, keep up these videos. many of your ideas reinforces what I have been learning the past few years in my own journey, for example setting up system and developing atomic habits to become the person you want to be, such a powerful video.

I am glad there are people who think like me about life. I was afraid people would call me lazy, lacking ambition when I want to tell that I don't want lot of money or to work a lot but enjoy the simple life doing things that I like and just live. Your video has inspired me more.

Thank you for making this video! I just turned 20 3 weeks ago and it’s only now that I realised how quickly time flies and how short life is . Although I’m aware that I’m still young, I rather learn how to live life properly now knowing that I can look back and feel no regrets and know that I spent my time wisely❤❤❤

Hi, I agree with absolutely everything you said. A few years ago I quit my job where I was just wasting my time. And then I managed to combine my passion with work, so my passion is actually my job - I don't earn as much as I would like yet, but I have a job that I would do even for free ;). Plus, I care a lot about good relationships with my family and friends, and good relationships are incredibly important in life. Best regards from Poland :). God bless you. You are doing a great job.

This reinforced my belief in minimalism, given how short life is, we should be smart enough to choose those things that matters to us. We might be doing a lot and believe that we are making use of our time, but the question is, how important are these things to me? Thank you for always creating contents which are thought provoking, this always give me realizations that is worth pondering about.

Hey I had a feeling you'd release a video today. Glad I caught it before I went to bed. I really took what you had to say to heart, especially your commentary about fear. Fear has held me back my entire life from achieving greater things. To the point where it's caused depression, and mental anguish. This recent eyefloater business hasn't helped certainly. However recently for the first time in a long while I've been able to gain some traction in turning my life around. Not sure what it is. I think it's a combination of being in my mid 30's thinking about "time", and other positive influences that I think have helped changed my thinking. Such as self hypnosis, therapy, consistent fitness/diet, and of course videos like yours. I'm hoping soon that these resources will lead to a better livelihood in the next few months. I'll see after 90 days as to what I've achieved. Thanks again for continuing to invest in us folks that are still trying to figure things out. Much love. Cheers.

This is really helpful, thanks Poppy. I have been feeling so exhausted and frustrated lately trying to change my life but feeling like my wheels are spinning. I feel like I spend a lot of time doing chores and errands, that pie chart explains a lot. I know I waste some time online and staying up too late so I'm going to try to minimise that to give me more time and energy for what's important.

Looove this video Poppy. We really need to be aware of what is precious for us and also spend time in activities that truly matter. I divide the year in 3 months and each period of time I plan my goals and I'm working on my goals that I need to reach by the end of September!
@StockMaster-20253 ай бұрын
The way I understand life is short is different than the way you understand and explain. The way I understand life is short is that you don't really know how longer you will live but you can also die tomorrow or at any time...
@bini55764 ай бұрын
Very inspiring and impressive how you pursue your goals. However the only thing we have is the present moment. I therefore don't see eating or working as a waste of time. If you don't like it and can change it, change it. If you can't, make the best of it.

Content wise this video might not seem groundbreaking, but intermittent reminder of our short time alive is much needed given the proliferation of attention depriving devices like cell phones.

I recently watching your video and it was beneficial for me. I watched this video at the right time. It helped me gain clarity for my problem. The biggest problem in my life is fear, because of it, i can't achieve anything. It's a great for me to have a table chat. I saw that table chat when I stopped this video and i wrote it down in my note as it gave me an idea for my problem. Thanks for your video.

If you are really sure you want to drop out and start another course then go ahead, But if you have no idea what to do in life, what's your passion then i suggest continue with your current degree, walking out with a good degree really helps in life. You can also try learning different things in your spare time during this year's like Art or topics related to another course. First sit down calmly and figure out what you want.

Rationalizing fear isn't always working, is it. Being courageous and actually looking into your fears (seeing how they manifest both physically but also mentally) and embracing them with love (it is important to stay kind to oneself) and wisdom (not believing the thoughts that come with the fears - they are just thoughts) helps overcoming them (in the long term, discipline is also required there !). Since life is short, shouldn't a goal be to fully live every moment, even the unpleasant ones? Because, in the end, it's not so much what we get or the situation we are in that determines our happiness, is it...
@hummingbird49344 ай бұрын
Absolutely I wholeheartedly agree with this. As someone who struggles with Cptsd I’ve realised that I only have this moment. I may have lost people I truly love but I’m here and I’ve survived every moment I’ve lived through so far. When you think about it like that it makes life pretty amazing. I’m so glad I am still here and for the first time in a long time I actually feel proud of myself ❤

What if life doesn't give us the job/career or relationships we desire? After being on this planet long enough, I have found that life doesn't always give us what we want and that we have to settle on Plan B instead of Plan A sometimes. You can try to find a job you don't hate, but not all of us are born with a silver spoon. That doesn't mean my life is not worth living by any means; it just means I have be content with the life I was given by the universe.
@reinventingpoppy4 ай бұрын
And there's nothing wrong with that at all! Plan B might not be the best situation possible but at the same time doesn't mean we have to settle for something we hate doing :)

But for most people, social media is living life. For some people, work is living life. We don’t have to live life separately from work or consuming contents - its a journey with no rules. Live however you want to live - but make sure you live intentionally and don’t regret later
