I've been thinking the same for some time now. Children and family were essential in the past, but it's becoming clear that we are just producing 'tax mules' for the government and 'profit slaves' for corporations. I believe that in 2024, if you do not have a solid plan for a child; do not have one. Also getting Married; buy a house, 2 5 cars, insurances. Marriage in 2024 is basically falling deeper into the systems control.

Alright let me get technical about Life. Humanity's social nature is based on effortless effect (efficience). It has been efficient and continues to be so, to co-operate, instead of doing anything by yourself, therefore we have become social creatures as that is more efficient. This also means that hurting one another is probably non-efficient. As we are the living embodiment of natural efficiency itself. I mean, we are advanced biological efficient machines running on a sandwich. ==== So there is this first layer, which is our social nature based on efficience. Then there is the second layer, which is capitalism, and makes us like individual entities not caring about one another. So because of the second layer, a lot of people do not see the first layer any more. Can't see the forest because of the trees.
