When Safi was teasing Max about becoming Ms. Havisham she was referring to the character in Great Expectations who after having been stood up for her wedding went a lil nuts and decided to live alone as a spinster forever, and spends her time the book lurking in her house alone in her wedding dress, in the dining hall with all the rotted wedding event stuff. :D

I had a guy in a goth club walk up to my table and say, "Did the angels give you a name before they tossed you from heaven?" This man had 0 shame and just sat down at my table after I blatantly said, "No." I was also told, "You look like you can suck a golf ball through a garden hose" and I...do not like pickup lines. As Morph said, JUST TALK TO PEOPLE. And for f sake, treat them like people.

Pick-up lines are the worst. Unless a guy can make you laugh with one, mostly they rank from cringe to gross. I had one guy say to me "that dress is very pretty on you. It would look even better on my bedroom floor". And another gross one I'll never forget that might get me banned from YT. What makes any person think those work better than "hello! How's your day/evening going?" ? Or something simple like that. You know, talk to people as if they are human beings.

Im a fan too, but im not stuck in the past like the others... In one ending Max lost her friend/girlfriend, in the other Chloe lost her mother and Max everyone else... So i can accept that if Chloe hates Max for that... AND Max was "i stuck in the past", and Chloe "lets move on TOGETHER pls"... Thats why they arent together anymore... I would say this to everyone (but i cant) : just try to understand their feelings bruh

I love how that Caledon art school hall looks like! I immediately felt better and inspired (almost). … Would be nice to study or teach at a place which looks like that. Also, yes, Max’s voice feels detached, but maybe it’s just her character’s thing.

I hung out with the nerdy kids because we didn't care for popularity because we felt like popularity turned you into a monster. I'm now 29 and loved my choice of friends to this day. their mistake was 3 things, 1: losing the rewind power, 2: rehashing the same oh no my best friend died and I have to figure out a way to save her shindig, and 3: Not having chloe in it properly. What I would have done was add power to her rewind time, rewinding is too good to lose in a game, I would keep that, and just upgrade those powers, I would have used the upgraded power at the start of the game to go back properly and this time able to fix it by creating a new timeline with Amber alive by saving her, then I would have Max, Amber and Chloe in the future of the prequel and have them all goto university together, to which a group of kids including Amber and Chloe with Max, and 2 more friends or so to copy what sliders did, and have Max lose control and drag them all into parallel world with her, and she doesn't know how her powers work, so they stuck there until she explodes again, and since all her friends are tied to her world, she drags them with her no matter where she is. So many parallel worlds, each being dangerous, and thus dangers unfold in every wormhole she creates, and each one has drama, thriller, horror, basically what sliders did in 1996 but with Max and her rewind powers as well on top of that. Chloe will also be a playable in new game+ with her biitch powers, and Amber would also be a 3rd playable after Chloe with her beauty powers to influence and control men to her will. huff huff.... Hows that.

Just cuz some of the dialogues don't seem to make sense with how the original Max would act, or how people would react to things. I don't want to give examples as to not spoil the story. The way you respond to dialogue makes much more sense!

I can't believe this but I actually got the Havisham reference at about 22 minutes in, and the only reason I understood it was due to an English lesson I had in year 10, so what, like 10 years ago now, or there abouts. Havisham is a poem about a woman who was jilted at the alter on her wedding day, this turned Havisham into a really bitter, hat filled woman, she couldn't get over the incident and just spends her days dwelling on the fact and cursing the man who hurt her.

So once when having soup I was offered corn chowder. I was very afraid that it was fish because I thought chowder meant fish. Thankfully corn chowder is it's own thing. Who knew?? Also for pickup lines I like the dumb one where you freak out that someone is hurt, pretend to call for help, then when they act confused tell them it must have hurt when they fell from heaven. I don't think it would work but I've seen pretty funny versions on TV and/or in movies.

Currently at 2:19:22 and I'm kind of wondering if it was Chloe, I'm probably wrong but would be kind of wild. Like if Chloe came to find Max. Where it's called Double Exposure I'm wondering if both Max and Chloe can mess with time, or Chloe thought Max had already replaced her with Safi or something. Chloe seemed like the kinda chick who would be packing if she's living nomadic and she also seemed moody/erratic. Plus the low hanging fruit thus far has been that the Chloe sound flashbacks have been a constant.

As much as I adore the Life is Strange series they always have tone deaf moments in writing, some things they have Max say or other characters say can be down right rude given the context but everything is always brushed off like yeah that's normal when in reality its like all that missed social context matters. Trying to police a grown woman's communications seems like a really petty concern especially when her daughter JUST died a couple days ago. Or sometimes Max's tone is just plain deadpan for emotional moments like the Chloe letter or references like cmon now. I adore this game series but I really feel like the writing could be better theyve had years to improve theyre not a little indie studio with a tight budget anymore.
