If she spoken to anyone in english her sg accent, tbh, she will pass as a singaporean with flying colours. GIVE HER CITIZENSHIP!!! Jodie too. Both have integrated well. I think MND can approach them to find the x factor of being a singaporean. Multidiversity and yet that accent. U cannot miss that accent. Not just a singlish thingy. Bagus lah!!!!!

Another great video!! Being a Singaporean living in Tokyo for over 20 years, I always find it hard to explain to people that I grew up in government housing (HDB) because of the stigma in Japan. Its great to see Japanese enjoying living in local areas like Sengkang and live like most Singaporeans.

Oh my goodness... Your female guest doesn't sound Japanese at all until she speaks, but she sounds more authentically Singaporean. We are glad she has adapted so well, and credit goes to her husband and surely a lot of support from her in-laws and neighborhood, not to mention marrying a local and having a family. This is great content that showcases strong family values! Thank you!

Me checking in. Oooo la la. How come the younger Japanese these days so stylo mylo ah🤔? Rare for a Japanese to like spicy food, chilly padi some more! Plus she's all alone in SG, oh dear. Perhaps Ghib san can connect this lady with other Japanese that he has interviewed before.... like example the Japanese hawker lady in Marsiling.... 🤔😁?? The good thing abt here/ SG is that we do not have those social cultural pressures to conform to. Hope she gets settled comfortably here.
