This is corporate America though. I worked in a small deli once as a manager and half the time I would just tell people to leave if they were behaving this way. I knew that most of my staff were generally helpful and a lot of people just like to just be insufferably miserable and take it out on staff and I just loathe that kind of behavior.

@@tunina6421I want to know where you worked, because I used to work in a small deli inside a wholesale club, and my managers expected us to bend over backwards for the most unreasonable garbage while eating the crap customers threw at us with a smile. With some, you could get written up for talking back to the customer the way the cashier talked to the Karen in this vid. My favorite thing about switching to the club's receiving dept was that since I was asset protection at that point, I was finally allowed to talk back to people because I was technically acting in the interest of the company. Never could man the deli or the service desk again after that

That's actually how these people end irl. In my city there was a woman that kept reporting people for leaving too little space for the sidewalk(either that or they block the road, there are no options so in that area it's considered unofficially ok).
