PRO TIP FOR SMELLY LAUNDRY: Vinegar + baking soda!! 1) Soak your smelly clothes in vinegar+ water, the amount depends on how bad it smells. I usually do around 30 min. (Don't worry with dark clothing, vinegar actually sets the colour! I use a vinegar soak every time I buy something new because it prevents the colour from staining other clothes whilst washing). This step kills the bacteria which cause the smell. 2) Rinse the clothes with water. 3) Soak your clothes in baking soda +water for just a few minutes (I found longer doesn't change the results). This step gets rid of the vinegar smell (and also the sweaty one). 4) Rinse with water. 5) Wash normally :-) My washing machine has a prewash setting which is just 5-10 min. I usually use that twice (once with vinegar and once with baking soda) and pause the first prewash (vinegar step) after a few minutes to soak, with the baking soda I just let it run through. Sorry for the wall of text, but that was the only way for me to get rid of some smells especially with clothing you can't wash on a hot cycle (such as workout clothes). The bacteria that causes the smell is never fully destroyed washing the clothes cold, so the vinegar replaces that. It's so easy to do and after a few times I just do it here and there to maintain. It's also great for towels that have that weird smell after being wet for too long or a forgotten wet load of laundry :-) I hope it helps someone! I just thought you don't have to keep running with already smelly clothes, at least in my case it demotivates me a lot because I just can't ignore the smell...

i need to work on my sleep schedule. I find myself progressively going to bed later and later and then I would wake up later as a result. Its just after a long day of work, I want to just relax and dont wanna go to sleep right away

same. i actually realized that a lack of strict boundaries as to what time i need to wake up at the next day caused me to just take more and more time to relax at night 😅 really in a need to work on my sleeping schedule

I do that too. Recently learned the word for it: Revenge bedtime procrastination. I never knew that there were others who did it too. Working on my sleep schedule right now.

It’s kinda comforting to here that other people are also scared of coming out of lockdown! 🥺 I’m definitely an introvert at heart, I went back to university 3 weeks ago after 4 months in complete isolation - for some reason I had told myself that my friends don’t like me anymore & I was going to be super lonely (of course that wasn’t true, lockdown just made me a tad crazy!). However, I can say that the past 3 weeks have been ✨THE BEST WEEKS OF MY LIFE ✨ & it genuinely makes me so happy to say that because I never thought I would be able to integrate back into society or be able to socialise! I’ve had such an amazing time & I’ve even been on a few nights out which I wasn’t even brave enough to do pre-lockdown! Before I left for uni, I felt so low & helplessness & that I’d never be able to live a normal life, which now seems like quite an extreme thing to think but at the time I felt extremely down! For anyone feeling like they’ll never adjust to normality, it’s 100% possible! YOU’VE GOT THIS! The times I’ve felt the most nervous to do things have resulted in the best memories! I promise you can do it, just be patient & don’t be too hard on yourself! 💚

I needed to hear that 🥺 i'm also an introvert and i might've created social anxiety over the past year, not sure though. But since i developed it, i can also break it!! I'm just afraid that i have to give 1000% percent immediately, even though i have understanding friends. But its university and going out that scares me. It always did and now it just adds up to the pressure to "act normal". I just feel so wrong, all of my friends have a mental to do list and i just wanna cry and roll up in my blanket ^^

@@not-a-ghost2206 you’ve got this! I was so scared to even get a bus by myself! Sooo many people feel the same way & chatting to my friends really helped me to realise that! Once you start doing things it gets so much easier & you start to remember the joy you once felt doing the activities you used to do! Before going back to uni, all I wanted to do was stay home read, study & go for walks in the countryside - i’m at the University of Manchester so it’s quite a change from my small village but I’ve come to love it! I still miss the countryside but i’ve learnt to enjoy going out to find amazing places to eat, trying new vegan foods & working in a lab! I’ve had the best time & it’s been a massive confidence boost which is crazy as I was in an extremely dark place just before I left so anything is possible!!!! 💗💗💗

my family have a set of white bowls similar to what you're describing. they're described as like, pasta bowls and i think my mum got them from Sainsbury's, if that helps

For the smelly tops you could try using a few tablespoons of vinegar in your wash.. the vinegar smell disappears after five minutes and the tops stop smelling 👍🏽😄

you need to freeze your running tops!! it gets rid of hte smell - pop them in the freezer for 12 -24 hours and then wash them. I do it to all my ski base layers

@@HollyGabrielle yes! I do it for alot of my ski base layers. Also one big thing is look into getting Marino wool tops too for running as they help with sweat and keeping you warm/cool and also smell a hell of alot less. Polyester etc always smell Super bad (long time Skiier tricks)

Here in Canada (Quebec), we are not locked up, but restaurants and gyms are closed... Who knows. Our government is not putting priorities in the right place and penalizing restaurants. For more than 18 months, our restaurants have been closed without any exit doors. This situation is fuck-up and and people live in the fear and uncertainty of a "free" summer... Good if your lockdown brings a little more balance, but I hope it will end soon for you too. Cheers! and courage.

I started watching this video and thought, something is wrong with holly she doesn't seem okay and by the end of the video she did mention she is going through a low point. It's okay Holly, many of us are including me and many other people I know so you are not alone and you can get through this. 💕

Sainsbury's have these ceramic bowls with a wooden outside which are lush (I want 1 lol) and I think COULD be what you're looking for!! Saw them last week so they should still be in bigger Sainsbury's xx

A really good tip for getting rid of smelly workout clothes is to soak them in vinegar. I quote a website now: “Mix one part white distilled vinegar to four parts cold water. Submerge your workout clothes, and let them soak for 15-30 minutes before washing.”

Yes you r right holly .i m preparing for jee main.its an entrancecexam for engineering college .exam dates have been postponed. While studying i sometimes think ''what i m doing, studying for 10 to 12 hrs a day ,is it enough, where is it leading me?''. Best solution which i found for this is i sit with my papa nd talk with him (he always if didnot qualify doesnt mattr but alwaystry to push ur extremities) nd he always undrstand what is going inside my mind nd try to sought it.And it mostly depend on ur desire for soemthing. Hope u find ur issue😀✌

Holly, I would really appreciate it and I think it's really important for you, because you have a big platform and a voice that can be heard, to spread awarenes to your followers about what is happening to the Palestinians. It's truly heartbreaking and devistating yet hardly anyone who is not Muslim is talking about this. This does not just revolve around religion, innocent people are being killed and evicted from their homes. This issue is huge (if you have already spoken about it and I've missed the post, apologies) I just haven't been seeing anywhere near enough people talking about it and spreading awareness and that itself is frightening

my favourite hack is to store anything that separates (natural nut butters or the tahini) upside down and so then when i need it and flip it back up its mostly mixed!

Holly, I am so thankfull that you talk so openly about how your feeling concerning certain topics. I have been having the same thoughts about the ending of the lockdown (eventhough here in Germany we've still got a bit of time until that's going to happen). So it really helps to see that other fellow introverts feel the same. And also thank you for your honest words about feeling down. I'm sure thay mean so much to a lot of people. At least to me they mean a lot. :-)

I totally understand your fears Holly: I feel like it's being harder for me to adapt to going out again and socialising than it was to just stay home. I think us introverts got used to being and staying in our comfort zones and all the progress we had made before the pandemic just seems lost. I know it's not like that but we just have to start with small steps to not be overwhelmed. So good luck for everything Holly! ❤️🍀

For smelling laundry..my husband plays soccer so, what we do is, we pre-wash his clothes with a little detergent, vinegar and baking soda (make like a little paste and brush over the stains) then, we leave it in a bucket with water and a little detergent over night.. works wonders! And keeps your white clothes, white lol
