I feel you all the way. I don't wish this to happen to anyone. My husband was let go from his job after 35 years. And it has been really hard. He just got a job after 16 months. We lost all medical insurance one month after he was let go. I'm sorry you and your family have to go through this. I'm praying for you all.

I went back to school for X-ray technician, having to be a mom and school is hard to juggle so coupon had to go. On my time off from studying I’m watching relax videos. Like cleaning, grocery shopping, meal preparation. Change is hard but sometimes necessary. Hope you find balance and peace for you and your family! 🫶🏼

I’m surprised they are even still open. I just feel so bad for you just know I will be thinking of you friend. Will have to keep me posted about sending you a Christmas card if I can. Idk if you still have your P.O. Box or not. Losing weight for me at 42 and going through perimenopause is so freaking hard. When we moved the end of 2022 I started putting weight back on that I had lost and last summer I was almost at my heaviest again. I was wearing a 12/14 in jeans now I’m finally back down in my 10’s but still not as small as I was. I seriously have had to cut out so many things that now food doesn’t even excite me I just eat to survive. All I’m saying is don’t beat yourself up or let it take you down you will lose it might just take a little extra time this round. So sorry to hear you are going through all of this!! I have the same kneck issues. I actually got to a point that I couldn't raise my arm up( don't wait that long). I actually had a horrible doctor at the time who let me put things off. When I finally decided to have the surgery his plan was to just go through the front. He did this, I went through physical therapy and had all kids of problems. Long story short I ended up with a better surgeon who redid the first surgery, which didn't fix much. Then did the surgery going through the back. He was very nice and I am very grateful for his help. I can move my arms, but I still have alot of pain and am permanently disabled. Please take care of yourself!!!!!! My life has changed dramatically!

Thank you for sharing your life with us. I can completely understand what you’re going through and wish you guys the best. Maybe this will be a good move for you and your family. Times are changing, couponing has changed, people’s spending has changed and I can’t imagine being a content creator with all the competition. It would get exhausting. I have definitely cut down my couponing from years past. But I’m so used to couponing and reselling it that’s it’s hard to stop because of what it provides our family. Plus I have a FT job and I started reselling on eBay, Poshmark etc. I’m exhausted every single day. There just isn’t enough hours in the day to work, clean the house, do laundry, coupon, hang out with family, take care of myself and so on. So I do understand what it’s like. I was immediately out of pain. If you have any questions, I'm here for you. Praying you won't have to have any surgeries but if you do, they usually come out good.

Jen, I’ve followed you for years now. You’ve helped me save so much money. I had a job loss last year, and I subbed in two school districts. I’m now working full time at one of these schools. I also cut back severely on my couponing frequency. I live in a very rural area, and there are many local couponers who wipe the shelves. So it takes at least 30 minutes to get to a store that has deals. I’ve limited couponing to only the brands we like the best when I’m already out in that town. With Walgreens, I’ve stopped deals that have high out of pocket (even with promises of Walgreens cash).

I know this situation is very stressful for you and your husband. It seems like you have always contributed to the household income. Jobs come in many form and you have to do what makes sense for you and your family. You know that when God closes one door he always opens another one. It’s not on our time it’s on his time. I’m hoping he gets a job where you can relax more and do some crafting where it’s to sell or just for yourself. Self care is extremely important. I’m sorry about the weight gain. I take several pain medications and have put on 50 lbs. Nothing I have ever done makes me loose weight. I have accepted it. I’m not able to get off the medication. Hopefully you can and then maybe the weight loss will follow. I love just listening to you talk and walk around the house seeing life. It’s nice. Thinking and praying for you.

So sorry to hear this, Jen, but it sounds like doing something different for awhile might help. Not sure hiw old you are, but it sounds like some of the symptoms you've having could be related to perimenopause. I gained 20 lbs in 2019 out of nowhere and that's what it was. I encourage you to research perimenopause. You'd be surprised at how much is affected by it.

My heart feels for you. The week after my mom passed away I was told my job was being cut. My one and only job I had after high school I had been there 38 years. Thank goodness I was at a different point in my life and I could afford to take a little of a pay cut. Looking back now I realize it truly was a godsend. I'm really sorry to hear all that's going on. So many businesses are closing stores. I keep hearing how great the economy is but I'm not seeing that at all. I haven't been couponing much at all because the coupons in the paper are useless now and the digital is like you said...all the same items. I found when I spent a few dollars here and there it started adding up for things we don't need more of. We have enough shampoo, body wash and toothpaste for quite a while. Think of it this way...When you're not couponing you are gaining time with your family and that is priceless. Praying your husband finds something soon and you get back on track. Take care. And make sure you're taking Vitamin D. If you're deficient it can play a part in depression.

Very sorry you are going through that. Will keep you all in prayer. Have you ever looked into MFTHR mutation? A lot of the population has this and it can present as depression and anxiety. The body doesn’t process folate which is in a lot of processed foods and vitamins. Also gluten is bad for it. So you need methyl vitamins including methyl folate and methyl b vitamins. Also the body doesn’t detox well so revamp your personal care products. Gary Brecka has info on KZbin about it.

I lost my job after 37 years. It does suck. I was depressed for a long time. Finally found a job after 6 months but I had $15 pay cut. It sucks. And I was so looking forward to retiring from that place. I didn’t even get to say goodbye 😢

I hope everything is going to be alright, I am glad you got a job by the kids. I hope you like it. I hope your husband finds a job. It's rough having them out of work, they get so depressed a lot of times.

You need to do what's best for you and your family. Don't worry about us or KZbin. People that enjoy you, will watch you no matter what you film and no matter when you film. We all go through life changes and even though they are often uncertain and stressful, all ends up working out. Just ride the wave and smile. Enjoy this time with your family and decompress.
