During lock down, I lost my last three cats to old age. All of them had been rescued as kittens and hand raised by me. It hurts so bad to lose beloved pets. I must have a pet to keep my blood pressure down. I was offered two, 3 year old, house cats whose owner had died. They needed a home, and I needed them. They were scared of me for a while; but, they are always somewhere near me (when I am home). As time has gone by, they have become more trusting of me. My sewing room is where they love to be. Sophie is a cute little puppy. She will keep you all busy.

Wow such a cute puppy, and the best part is her name Sophie which is our cat’s name and happens to be black & white. I had to comment on your Sophie she is so cute, then you pulled my heart strings big time. I’m so sorry for your loss, our pets are family members and it take a toll out of our hearts. We are taking our Sophie to the vets on Thursday. She is 13 years old and a big big part of our family, And lost a male cat in the summer his name was Benue, I miss him terribly, and Sophie looks for him all the time and has gone downhill since he isn’t around. Sarah looks like a very beautiful young lady and surely she is going to enjoy Sophie lot. Susan, I’m so very sorry to hear you and your family lost your sweet Molly, it’s very hard when we have to say goodbye to them. Sophie is very precious, she won’t replace little Molly, but she will help ease the pain. Sophie will leave her own paw prints on each of your hearts. I know you have enough room in your heart and in your home for Molly’s memory and your new little Sophie. She’s adorable. Eventually, your new home will be built and you will be in it. Good luck with Etsy and selling your patterns, if you decide to do that.

I've followed you for a long time and think you are an inspiration. Sorry to hear about your demise. We build our house but my husband was the general contractor. Although prices did go up especially with covid. Sorry about your dog. I've had the same experience. I'm heartbroken about the economy as I am retired. I cried with you today. Thinking about my first chihuahua when she died. I was out of town and when I came home I could not find her. My husband had already buried her. I cried for 6 months and still miss her so much. She has been gone for about 5 years now. We had 4 dogs (3 chihuahuas and a Pekingese-all wonderful dogs-no yappers) :-) at the time….all about the same age….so they are all gone now and I miss them all. We now have a Yorkie and a German Shepard. Your little Sophie is very cute and your daughter looks like she loves her already. I also have a special needs daughter (who’s name is Sarah) but she never did “attach emotionally” to any animals. I never understood why. I’m looking forward to seeing your new house. I have subscribed to your KZbin’s for years. love the longarming!!!!

We lost our two miniature longhair dachshunds last year. Sugarfoot was our female and was 13 when she passed away in her sleep on May31, 2023. Then in Dec. we lost our male Gunner's Coal and was 14 when he passed away on Dec16, 2023.. I am so sorry about your loss. they do become members of the family.
