Raelan, wow! Loved every minute of this. But the stunner was THE WIG. I had no idea! Lol. Also, you never have to dress up for us. What you do is so valuable and you always look adorbs. Much love and appreciation to your whole team too ❤ I have to admit, though, that hearing about how hard you’re working at essentially two jobs really has me worried for you. No relapses, please! As someone who is still recovering and has decided I’m never going back to the hustle life, it was a little hard to hear about how much you’re hustling now. But I do appreciate your honesty because I am one of the ones who asked for a “how’s life for you now” video. So I can’t have it both ways, I realize, but I care about you and want the best for you ❤

Great video from one Norcal to another! 🥰Really appreciate your authenticity… I teared up when you took off your wig, and could feel a part of me shift to a deeper sense of safety and worthiness. When I was bedbound (7 years) and struggling w/ health I developed so much shame and felt I had to hide constantly from the rest of the world how “sick” “broken” “disabled” “flakey”, etc I thought I was at the time. Shifting my mindset and working with my nervous system was the game changer for me too! I’m now healing and integrating those parts of myself that saw me as unworthy and unattractive and I’m transitioning to feeling more safe with vulnerability. Thank you for sharing such great links - your content has been a big inspiration to me the past year since I came across your channel! I join you in making 2024 and amazing year, full of wellness and expansion. 🥰💕

Raelan I owe my recovery to you! To be clear, I am still in an 'acute' phase of long covid and housebound with 24/7 symptoms. However, through all the lessons I've learned from you and others I've accessed through you, I finally have a recovery plan that feels like it's working. I know I will recover, there isn't a single doubt in my mind. I never would have known what on earth was going on without your channel - I am SOOOO grateful! Please take the pressure off yourself regarding appearance etc. We are here for you and your info, not your hair or makeup! Take care of yourself!

Dear Raelan thank you always for this space of hope, encouragement & wellness. You are simply wonderful. I personally am entering the post recovery period after 12 yrs. From bed bound to adding on all the layers from self care to making dinners, housework, shopping, seeing friends, days out, social activities, holidays etc. just starting volunteering for 4hrs a week after not working for 7yrs and actually being medically retired! Such a hellish journey but having you has been the gift that really has kept giving. Thank you for all your hard work and generosity with your time, energy, knowledge, experience, skills & recovery wisdom. Thanks to all your team ❤ You have created such an important platform. With love Tara (UK) ❤❤xx

Mind you I wear a lot of hats, they are so great when your hair looks crap 🤣🤣 You might not get as many people looking at your videos BUT your videos are actually helping people rather than other “fairy floss” videos that are out there. Loved it, thank you. I’ve started a podcast and by dec 31st I’ll be better at it! Your video was perfect timing for me as it’s useful to hear others have needed time, and a team, too! As for AI when I first played with it there was a glimmer of hope that I might be able to streamline my workflow and get back to doing some work. Pretty surprised that even by episode five I was already past just getting the video, audio and transcript out but had enough mental energy to make a clip with subtitles (it’s all in one app called descript if anyone is interested). I have at least six half finished workbooks done and I plan on using ai to push those forward to with feedback on ideas etc. I was feeling despondent about work, and even looked at applying for a very few hours work locally, but I am still not ready for that, plus even just the application form looked like a pain in the bum! After episode four an old friend reached out to ask if I will do one hour a week as an online class for her and her friend! Which just shows that you really don’t know what doors will open when you create something and put it out there. PS funny to see yu let go of the wig, I lost a lot of hair and it’s just started to grow back. …. Curly! Yep, apparently that’s a thing after loosing your hair, sometimes it grows back curly!

I voice message as my main form of communication and it gives me a social life but also makes me realise my well friends have their issues in life too. I’d love a video on how technology can help things like the Visible app. Garmin watch. Apple Watch. Voice messaging apps tbat make life easier and help us to get by with more insight.

Hi Raelan, I am one of your faithful listeners for several months. I take notes and follow up on links. Along with your channel, I have learned much from microbiology researchers and, in the beginning, from clinicians. But channels like yours are wayyy more practical and encouraging, and a fast way to learn remarkable tools for sufferers to regain control of their bodies. (Also I love that you took your wig off in the previous video. Love your authenticity!) My ask is: At some point, without stressing yourself, would you provide some of the perspectives of the caregivers, and coping tools? I don’t know how typical my situation is as a spouse: My husband is a kind of super scientist in microbiology, no less. Pharmaceuticals are what he leans on. I don’t have a problem with that, but it is frustrating that I seem to be the only one working to understand the non pharma side. I don’t think I’m pushing it. I know that it has to be his buy-in. So I tell him what I’m learning carefully. But it sure is frustrating to think that he could be recovering further if he would have more respect for non-pharma and make time to learn on his own. I share with him some stories of those who have made full recovery, and I put the positive words to him, like, “You are doing so much better, and I believe your body can continue to heal.” Stuff like that. Honestly, as the spouse it is hard to not take his scepticism or just lack of focus on trying, personally. There are other aspects of being the spouse, it’s unique for each of us too. Just a thought. I know you are sensitive to caregivers, so this is not a rant. If it doesn’t happen, I will still continue to learn from everything you put out!❤

This doesn't really feel like the point of the video to me so I feel weird commenting about it, but I need to point out that the way AI "takes" jobs is by reducing the available jobs because it supposedly makes people more productive (whether it does/will or not is inconsequential, each worker is already productive enough to support multiple families but our system is about making a few people rich, not ensuring health for the masses).

Raelan, if you're recovered from actual ME/CFS, good for you, the number of people who actually recover is very low, so you must be one of the lucky ones. If that is the case, why not write an actual journal paper that can be peer reviewed, detailing the recovery protocol for everyone's benefit and then just move on with your life? It looks like selling these recovery courses has now become a way of making a living, unfortunately
@RaelanAgle

Wish it were that simple! 😅 From recovery stories, it looks like there are many paths to recovery. We're currently crunching data from 140 transcripts looking for patterns. As for recovery numbers, we don't really know. That 5% stat? Based on an older paper with a limited sample size.
@andreiberceanu6092

@@RaelanAgle 140 patients is a sizeable cohort, *provided* they were all properly diagnosed according to the International Consensus Criteria by a medical specialist in ME/CFS. If that is the case, you can proceed to do statistical testing of various hypothesis. For example, one hypothesis seems to be "brain retraining helps with (or cures) ME/CFS". That needs to be proven, in a placebo-controlled trial. So yes, it really is that simple, even if the disease itself is anything but simple.

They want you to believe you aren’t curable because a patient cured is a customer lost. They’d rather feed u horseshit tablets to ‘manage’ your condition and detiriorate further. I have seen at least 1000+ people recover from ‘chronic’ conditions whether it be interviews, Facebook posts etc. the proof is there-stop looking for statistics and biomarkers and papers as u won’t find them.
