Definitely the bushings I had the same problem with a keep grand Cherokee I owned years ago and a Chevy blazer drove me nut’s

As far as the catch can, you can try swapping out the drain valve with a ball valve fitting with a cap from the plumbing aisle at HD or Lowes. Bring the bottom and test fit it to make sure it fits.
