I just feel goosebump watching this video as I have been watching you since I was in my 20s (now I'm 35!!), graduated college, worked, came out, have my first relationship, my second, work, travel, my third, travel some more, work and now my fourth in the span of over a decade and more and you have been the constant thing (besides my friends and family of course lol). Mark, our Yellow Labrador had the same injury. He was only one year old at the time. We found an excellent Vet Surgeon in San Diego who only performed TPLO (ACL tear) surgery. While our pup was recuperating he tore his other ACL, so back to the same surgeon we went for a second surgery. He is now 3 years old and is doing fantastic and fully recovered. Back to fetching and playing. Best wishes to Olive on her recovery. Labradors are the best!

Poor Olive! But she is a trooper. And so are you, the shock and concern you felt for her was visible. That strawberry shortcake looked very much like what we call in a cream tea. Scone, with or without raisins, jam and clotted cream. I like mine with clotted cream and jam on top.

And yes, going out is ok!OK!! But it is important first to make sure that you yourself are emotionally and mentally ready to start to see someone!!! So, living or being alone us ok!! You have your Little one to share you home so, really you are not alone. But I understand what you were saying. Soft laughing! Hahaha! For me, I have been alone for a number of years now!! When I was taking care of my Mother a few years ago, I was comfortable not dating. Then when my Mother went to heaven I still did not date. And have be comfortable on my own over the last 5 years now. I take living day by day. For you, please be safe and enjoy your summer safely.

My last dog, who was about Olive's size, did this...at the age of thirteen and a half. She handled the surgery okay, and after the three month rehab she was fine. She could no longer jump up into the back seat of my SUV, but then it had been getting a bit more difficult for her prior. Just follow the vet's schedule for her rehab, and she'll be fine!

Thanks for another little window into your Indy life! I always enjoy the view. I hope that you enjoyed Indy Pride. I just didn't make it this year. Sometimes it seems like Avon is on the "other side of the world", and it's such a chore to get into downtown Indy and find parking, etc. Years ago I lived on the 29th floor of one of the Riley Towers, and enjoyed downtown - but then I could walk wherever I wanted downtown. Now I guess I've just settled for the suburban life in my nice little condo. It's always nice to virtually connect with the downtown life, again, through your updates. Thanks, again!

Oh no! That really sucks. I went through that with my German Shepherd. I ended up having to get both of her rear legs done. She will bounce back, although she may not be as nimble. ❤

regular, twice weekly, getting out of your head, back into your body, practice sessions. i was lucky quitting alcohol/tobacco insurance covered (group) behavioral therapy classes. she (facilitator) called it mindfulness, started every session with 15 minutes of it, after about 9 months i got pretty good at it. as kids some of us learned to escape into the safety of our head habitually, hardwired it neurologically, unconsciously. unlearning this habit, ignoring yourself, escaping back out into the safety of our bodies, letting it go, can become helpful. good update. thx

Poor Oliver I hope she had a good recovery. My clover tore her alc in November running after a ball. Ball was life. Could not afford the surgery. We did anti inflammatory and pain Management. Got her a 30 buck brace. It took a long time but she is running and playing again. No more ball retrieving thou. Live me some strawberry shortcake as well.
