Life without animals is unbearable

Not having animals in my yard is simply unbearable. Our yard was once teaming with wildlife. It brought joy to everyone but a handful of grumpy neighbors.
It's been 1 month since I was told to stop feeding all wildlife by a city official. Me being certified by the NWF, placed a target on my back with politically minded neighbors who are threatened by individuals who are environmentally minded. These culture war politics has poisoned neighbor against neighbor. They sought retribution by calling the city on me for feeding animals. I was threatened with a $50-$5,000 per day fine for continuing.
I had no choice but to comply. Our family cannot handle a fine of that magnitude. So, all animals have left our yard. All joy has gone with them. I'm deeply depressed and struggling to find a way to reconnect with my animal friends legally. I try to think out of the box on clever yet legal solutions , but they seem far fetched. I'm hoping that audience members that live close by might invite me over to feed raccoons with them. Perhaps we could film it while remaining anonymous? I'm desperate! I'm even considering purchasing synthesized pheromones that can attract raccoons to me. Perhaps I can internally create them naturally? This would be a giant feat of the mind. I'd have to become a Zen master over my neurochemistry. Could I be arrested for naturally attracting wildlife to me?
