The cabin at the Snow Hotel looked so cool covered in snow, no pun intended. Visited Kirkenes in August of 201?, was much much warmer than -26, great place to visit, then later King Oscar II Chapel near the Barents Sea. A Canadian who thinks Norway is awesome.

oh and where to visit? I was only there for three days (northern lights every night - very lucky!! As a WW2 buff, I visited the site of the Tirpitz sinking (Hakoya island) I had a little drive around the island North of it. very rural, beautiful and White Tailed Eagles and free roaming reindeer!! (Been watching the should I move to Norway clips of yours 👌👌👍👍)

As I live up here I can say that its like this. When you wake up its dark, when you go at work, its dark, it is dark some times even when you are at work, and ofcourse when you go home. Here where I live now, we will see the first sun 2nd of february, we see some daylight before that ofcourse. In the summer its different, then on some days when there are no clouds the sun rotate around the sky and never sets. Still when there is clods or fog... still daylight 24 hours a day..

@@AnnaGoldmanTravel usually I am doing well winter time I am light sensitive and alot of warm wrather and sunlight can cause me Migrene so I am in a perfect world half the year 😂🤣. But I must admit that the last two winters I have been more sleepy but it could be something different. I am born well in Kirkenes but live out at the coast so I guess I am used to this.

@@AnnaGoldmanTravel my work is various so I work some daytime and some afternoons and some weekends. So hard to plan a trip or not. But we do travel to like Kirkenes for shopping at times... just driving it takes about 8 hours to and back hehe
