We should begin each new day with the utmost confidence in God, believing He will never abandon us. There are many events in our lives that can cause sleepless nights, however, we can sleep peacefully when we cast our cares on the Lord and pray about everything. “Casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” (I Peter 5:7 AMP) “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) No matter what is going on in our lives our Abba Father is with us. He will never leave or forsake us. We can have absolute confidence in this. "...for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]" (Hebrews 13:5 AMP) Be Encouraged!

We should begin each new day with the utmost confidence in God, believing He will never abandon us. He has told us, in His Word, that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:6), and He cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18). Even if life events cause sleepless nights-like when a loved one is ill or we’re experiencing grief, or we’ve been betrayed by a friend or family member-we can be encouraged by David’s (Psalm 3:3-8) and Paul’s (II Timothy 4:16-18) experiences, and as we read the Word, it may feel like a ‘right now’ Word to us, which is always helpful. Because “His mercies never end…[and] are new every morning,” and “great is [His] faithfulness,” we can say, “‘The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him’” (Lamentations 3:22-24). Thanks for the teaching, Dr. G.

Just to correct that there was no temple yet at the time of David.
