Thanks you so much, this has been pretty much helpful to me, a number of day back, close to two weeks I bought a microphone to start a podcast of my own since it is something I have been thinking over and over for a while, but the day I first hit record I just got hit with this cold reality of how my voice sounded mostly as the tone or volume of my voice descended down with every end of sentence or even individual words. I have actually been thinking that the problem is with the microphone but now I am conceived that it's with my confidence. Let me give it afew more days as I practice in my free time so as to get well with my voice so that I deliver a catching and professional podcast. Thank you so much, much love.

Great video... first time I recorded I realised written my episode like an essay, and it sounded like an audiobook. I struggle with my breathing and can hear it on my headphones, so I had to rewrite the whole thing. The intonation wasn’t natural at all. Again, great vid!

Amazing advice ! Looking forward to start my podcast. It's still only at the idea stage so far. I've been singing and talking in public in amateur for years, so I see a chance to improve even more and get more confident. Thank you SO much !

But how do you do this on your own? Like, talking with another person, I find it easy to relax and build momentum and enthusiasm. But when I'm by myself I tend to overthink and become robotic. Or maybe it's because I'm in my parents house and feel self conscious :( yeah I think that's what it is. I'm just so used to suppressing myself here.

For me and what seems to be my kryptonite is when I’m just being recorded in a microphone or on film. All words in vocabulary seem to escape my mind, and find a difficult to formulate sentences, and I end up, sounding like I’m on drugs, trying to answer a question in an articulate fashion.

You don't need to speak without punctuation in order to sound well. Breathe. Pauses are important. In real and natural conversations, people take pauses. Actually, I find the way you speak quite tiring to listen to, no offense.

No worries bro. My voice and style is not for everyone. The same will be true of yours. Never seek to appease everyone.

Your voice was so aggressive from the very first second I thumbed the video down and paused the video before it reached 10 sec. Please learn real techniques, sound processing AND voice techniques, make good videos, THEN give advice. Right now, whatever you are going to say is mood because of the low quality of your voice/recording/post-processing.

My voice and style is NOT for everyone. It's led to success in my life (30k+ subs on my other channel - Salvador Briggman), successful shows, audio books, etc.
