Great to see y’all back again! Love the new couch, hope you’re able to lock it and the table down so they don’t slide around while traveling. I’d still check IKEA for your table… and Amazon has LOTS of table legs for a table top too. Happy Camping! 😁

I totally agree about the two purpose rule for things in the camper. That couch you picked out looks great and looks like it is built to last. And the side table sure has a lot of potential functionality. You might be able to put something like a breakfast bar in the space left in the slide. Maybe with the stools against the back wall and the actual bar part towards the center of the room. That way you would be facing the kitchen or entertainment center while your eating and not the neighbors. And the breakfast bar could double as a workspace too. I have seen a few floor plans with these instead of the dinette. One of the show models at the M.B. rally had one of these and I thought it served the same function as a dinette but took up less room. Your RV looks great and safe travels.
@lifererouted2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Wayne! I really like the idea of having a table with 2 chairs on the slide. Trying to figure out a good way to be able to turn it to fit 4+ people 🤪 the slide is just so shallow. We'll see! Thanks!

@lifererouted2 жыл бұрын
Good thought, Sandra!
@7autumn52 жыл бұрын
After seeing the couch in place I was thinking could you go for a bar height table? Then being higher it wouldn’t feel like you were so cramped up against the couch because you’d be using elevation. I know you’re shorter Steph, but bar height seating has the rungs on the chairs to put your feet on. I don’t even know how you feel about bar height, but that’s just what I saw once you got the couch settled. I also wondered if you had thought of slipping a charger around the wall side of the couch and putting one of those little cord holders that look like putty on that side to hold a charger there?

Good idea, Autumn! The only problem is finding a really comfortable chair. I spend a lot of time at the desk doing work and need a good chair. I like the idea though!

Also suggestion we bought a high end air mattress for our sleeper sofa and it is much more comfortable for sleeping. Was around $250-$300 but well worth it!
